"Altura" 60" Outdoor Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan

I already have a 68 inch unit, so was familiar with this fan. I agree that there is a problem getting the wiring, etc to fit into the ceiling box, so didn't use it on my first fan. Hopefully this ceiling box will have more room. The fan is very quiet, and produces a real whirlwind of air, and looks great. I am replacing all the out dated fans in the house, so will probably buy a third unit in the near future.

Looks great, works great, multiple speeds. Only bad is a grey fan speed control switch for your wall. Why not white or ivory color like every switch and cover plate ever made?! Grey? I'm not that picky but it was a bad choice and a little ugly.

We installed this fan in a screened in porch when we built our house. The fan was very attractive and we actually have three others in different room in the house. This one died after 2 years and very little use. At this price, I expected it to last a long time. Very disappointed.

Good looking fan, installed easily and is quiet. Only a couple relatively minor things... "Walnut Finish" in the description, doesn't mean mood. The blades are plastic, but look pretty good if the fan is high enough up. (Note: one part of the description on Amazon actually says "Walnut blades") After being quite careful in installing and torquing the blades, the fan still manages to wobble a bit at low speed. At this price point, one would think there would be a wireless remote. If you want to change the direction of the fan, you have to get up on a chair/ladder and flip a switch.

This fan gets great praise for attractive style. It's so quiet, beyond two in living room, I ordered one to replace another brand and style in the master bedroom. If you like the style, you will love it in action.

It’s a pretty fan, I’ll give it that but that’s as far as it goes. For such a large fan, it should move some serious air. It does not. The ceiling fan in our bedroom moves more air on low than this one does on high. Very disappointing and of course we bought it mid construction of our covered porch so now that it’s up, we are outside the return window.

We love this fan so much that we bought this same style in different sizes for every room of the house AND for our outdoor room! The design is such that it moves A LOT of air quickly and with very little sound, which I appreciate. We also added a light kit to it for the bedrooms. We are very pleased with it so far!
