Bought it hoping it would be a great massaging tool but it is not, at least if your hair is on the thick side - even if not too much. The bristles are too thin and short and they just do not reach through to nicely touch your sculp. Still I believe it is great to distribute hair oils, and it worked great at blow-dry to straighten my hair (it is rather straight by itself though) - it prooved a great detangler and much softer and safer than a regular vented brush.

I bought a boar bristle brush to help distribute the natural oils in my hair because I tend to have oily hair, but even though I have fine hair, the brush never seemed to get to my scalp. When I saw this product, I knew I wanted to try it.I'm glad I did! It does seem to help with oil distribution, but even if it didn't it still feels AMAZING when you use it. It kind of scratches your head. Both of my sons love when I use it on them, as well.This brush glides through my hair even when it's wet (which I know you're not supposed to do). There are no snags or tangles that this bad boy hasn't swept through with ease.The biggest test was my husband's hair, which is long, thick, and curly. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this brush!!!! I normally wash my hair at night, allow it to dry naturally and in the morning brush it. The reason is, my hair is thick, long and coarse. I can not get a brush through my wet hair no matter what product I use. The first time I tried the brush I used it on dry hair and loved the way it glided through. I was especially impressed with the way it is curved to massage your scalp. So the true test way my freshly washed hair.... I was THRILLED! The brush never pulled, snagged or got stuck!! I will never go without this brush again. I'm ordering one for each of my daughters, my mom and a couple more to have on hand.

I really like this brush, but every time I use it some of the boar bristles fall out. :(

Due to its unique shape, it actually takes more hair with each stroke, cutting down detangling time. And the combination of material makes it really painless compared to the many, many brushes I've tried. I was sceptical and thought it might be a gimmick but i'm glad i took the risk, because now it's my go-to brush for heavy duty detangling and dematting. I use it with any spray conditioner for light tangles and with Cowboy Magic detangler and shine which is a super miracle product in its own right esp for tight mats (I'm not affiliated).

I used for the first time this morning- and what a difference!!! I have thin, long hair that knots easily, so brushing my hair wet has always been a process- this is life changing. Worth every penny! For the record, I was using a vent brush so I've never tried out the other brushes that claim to make brushing knots out / wet hair easier (although my hairdresser has on my hair without success). If your hair is a pain- give this a go ASAP.

I wish I could give it 10 stars!! I have naturally "wavy" (I call it zombie wind blown) and course hair that is always tangled. I let my hair air dry all crazy, then I used this brush with nothing but a hair dryer and it produced the product you see in the picture. Ah-may-zing. It eliminates tangles, smooths the hair and I swear it gave my fine hair more body. Regardless of your hair type, this brush is versitaly perfect!

This hair Brush is really good. Gives nice massages to my scalp every time I use it and its very gentle to my hair and scalp. I like to use it to blow dry my hair. It leaves it very smooth. The only negative thing I have noticed is that the bristle fall out, Slowly but every time I blow dry my hair I find two or three on my sink. Within a year a I will probably have none.
