Love my greenhouse
Have had greenhouse for a few months now with no problems. Set up was a little crazy, definitely an all day, team sport, no kids kind of thing. Spacious and exactly what I was looking for. Fits tables and shelves with room to move around. The window vents are my only concern as they are difficult to open and close making me think im going to break it every time. All in all definitely a quality product. *Did purchase snow load and anchoring kit*

Great quality and very sturdy once built.
Definitely a 2 person job. We had friends over (so 4 of us all together) and it was pretty straight forward. Instructions were OK, and the online videos definitely helped! Very sturdy structure once all the support braces were put in. I'm very happy with by 8x8 Grandio greenhouse.

Frustrating greenhouse erector set
If you have lots of time, tolerate frustration well, like to tinker with products to make them work the way they should, and have a keen interest to build a large erector set project, this may be for you. One of the key questions one should ask about a "build it yourself" greenhouse kit is how long will it take. I was told by the customer service rep that it would take about a day. It took me a month, working a few hours every day. There were missing, broken, and wrong parts sent. The instruction manual is misleading or not helpful in many places leading to many re-dos and just figuring it out on your own. Although the price is reasonable, the cost is high because of all the deflected labor that the consumer has to put into it which could have been relieved by a more effective engineering design.

solid feeling greenhouse - but we didn't build it
We had a plastic sheet covered hoop house that deteriorated quickly after a year or two. After much research we decided to replace it with this hard-sided model. Everything arrived carefully wrapped, nothing bent or missing. BUT we decided we had better ways to spend our time than putting this giant kit together and hired a handy-man from thumbtack.com Best decision we ever made- with a friend, he completed the job in one day (he'd never built one before but had little problem figuring it out). We got the 8x8 ft model and noted there are extra parts. Apparently the largest box is the same for all sizes so we had extra anchors and braces. The side braces are somewhat in the way, but the friendly phone technical help guy said they weren't really needed on the small model. We left them to see how it gets through the first winter. So far it's been a summer home to house plants and when the temperature dropped into the 40s, a winter crop of peas and lettuce. I just wish I'd gotten the next larger size.

Great greenhouse!
We recently purchased a Grandio Ascent 8X12 greenhouse and are about half way through assembly. The 8X12 is just an 8X8 with a 4 foot extension kit. very well engineered and manufactured. So far everything we assembled has come out square so it is manufactured very well. The review of this product on the Grandio website reads like a professional advertisement and at one point says the greenhouse is easily assembled in a few hours by two people. Not true. There are a lot of parts and this thing is very hard to assemble. It gets easier as you progress but I would not advise anyone who is not mechanically inclined to try this assembly. I worked for 30 years in numerous industrial settings as a mechanic/millwright and this has been a very challenging task. Though if you have one technical person the second party can be anyone reasonably fit. We put the bottom rail of the front and back on backwards, fortunately it was an easy fix. Very excited to complete and use our new greenhouse. It is sturdily built and we anticipate many years of use.
