Better than expected.
This is the first time that I have tried Saffron as a spice. I have tried several blends using saffron, but never the spice itself. I appreciated the reviews as they helped use it I believe more correctly. The threads seem to be really fresh and 1 oz. is a load of saffron. I don't think that I will run out any time soon, even with regular use.

Excellent product but now 22.5 % increase in price since I first ordered at the end of May so in a little over 7 months, order 3 - 4 at a time Price started @ $40 up -$43.50 was still ok but now feel like they are getting a little overpriced for the grade of saffron TAKING BUSINESS ELSEWHERE
