Grund Organic Cotton Grund: 100% Organic Cotton Namo Bath Mat Series, 17-Inch by 24-Inch, White

This is a great little rug. I would love to find one that is a bit larger, but it does work well next to the shower. It looks fairly durable, and the backing does a good job of making sure the rug doesn't slip on the tile floor. It is very plush and feels great on the toes. It also does a good job of absorbing moisture.It did produce quite a bit of lint when tumble drying on the low setting. After 4 washings it is still producing a lot of lint, hopefully that will change with time. Still it looks like new, and I don't notice any reduction in plushness.

The product page for this item is very confusing. Some of the reviews mention that their rug does not have rubber backing, and this lack of rubber backing is what I wanted. (I've never been able to trust rubber backings to stay intact in the wash.) Apparently those reviews were referring to another version (Lao?) but I thought they were referring to the Organics Namo rug that I had selected. The page should be much more clear about the differences between varieties, or perhaps even have different item pages for different varieties.So, to be clear, the Grund Organics Namo Cotton Bath Rug *DOES* have a rubber backing. However...I've never before encountered a rubber backing of this quality on any rug. I thought the other reviews were exaggerating, but the quality really did jump out and grab my attention. This and the five year warranty are giving me enough confidence that I'll be keeping the rug to try out, instead of sending it back immediately. I'll update this review after it's been used and washed a few times, but I have high hopes!

Really like the rugs - I bought 6 in different sizes - but the non-skid backing is coming off of all of them after just a couple of months of use, even though I followed the washing and drying instructions on the label.

Really well made, soft, cushy and absorbent rugs. I bought the Denim color in 3 sizes and it's a soft, grey-blue. I have no idea how someone could call this powder or baby blue. The color is pretty much exactly like the 3rd picture. I also bought a white one and that is a true, bright white.This is an honest to goodness rug not a bathmat.The pile is nice and thick, but a door will pass over it just fine without bunching it up. They don't slide around and I washed them on hot and dried them on low and they came out just perfectly. I'm not seeing a ton of shed.These rugs are gorgeous, quality and worth the money.

Getting ready to return. quality is good and I would be tempted to keep them in spite of the rubber backing. But the color pictured is so incredibly different from what I received that that it boggles the mind. The picture appears very grey,grey-blue and what I received were very aqua. Can't imagine how the color could be so wrong.Many reviews were confusing because various review of Grund products were included together so although many commented on the 100% cotton and reversibility but it seems that those were only available in certain sizes. Really difficult to isolate the applicable reviews. Very very disappointed.7/14/20 I have since received my replacement Puro style rugs and they are perfect, thick sturdy and REVERSIBLE. Very lovely, and Grund was very responsive.

Best rugs I ever purchased. These are soft, absorbent , non-slip and very attractive. The fiber is plush, not looped. I got the 17 by 24 inch taupe ones. I use one at my front door and one in front of my kitchen sink. These are small but work very well and are easy to wash and dry faster. A couple of times a week I run them through air-only dry cycle 10 minutes, easier than shaking the dirt out and it fluffs them up too. They are pricy but well worth it. I have thrown away so many, many synthetic fiber rugs because they pilled and looked nasty after a few washings.

I am very pleased with this carpet and I am purchasing two more. The fact that you cannot even begin to make it slip is a very positive factor for my family. Even when I am in my "rush mode", I feel very safe without the fear of slipping and falling in my bath room. By the way, love the color, love the feel. The total performance is worth the price.

Really nice, soft rug, but from the moment I took it out of the box, the white rubber appears to be flaking off and looks like dandruff all over the brown rug anytime someone walks on it with bare feet or socked foot. Shaking or vacuuming off the white specks doesn't help because the minute someone walks on it again, more white flakes appear. I am returning the rug. Super disappointed, especially given what I paid for it. I own much less expensive bath rugs that have never, ever flaked over years of use.
