Cheaper Alternative to Bare Minerals
I'm a new fan of this brand. It goes on translucent and does what it is supposed to do.

Great colir
I love the color of this product as it adds a great blush to my skin on most days when I don’t want to go full on makeup. Stopped wearing full makeup after retiring but this provides the light coverage and glow I wanted. Have purchased to have one at home and in our RV

Not full coverage, Fairly light seems a bit orangey
I was excited when I saw the "lure minerals" label, hoping it was the resurrected lure minerals company I used to love that was owned by 2 sisters. But it wasn't the same. I have to practically coat the brush to get the same coverage and use 2/3 more than I did with other mineral powders. Usually, I have to tap the excess off and brush it on lightly and it covers all my blemishes and age spots easily. This time I have to fully load the brush and swirl it on my face to feel like more than a light powder and cover blemishes. but then it turns orangey. Weird, because it seems neutral when it first brushes on lightly, but as you rub it in, it seems to have a terra cotta streak...that isn't exactly blendable. I dabbed my finger in it and tapped my arm, then rubbed it and it does it like that on my arm when rubbed in. Turns orange. It isn't the worst thing ever, sort of gives a summer glow for summer, but not what I was expecting, and I am really a very neutral to cool tone, and I look too sallow in yellow and orange tones. So I'm just...meh... I can't say much for the other colors or the matte. I decide on the luminous for a change; maybe the matte doesn't do this?? Rather than try another shade in matte, I think I'm going to try a different brand. But I LOVE the container, never had a mineral makeup with this snazzy sifter container and decent lid so I think I am going to keep it for a refill with sweet face minerals.

Love it!
This product works every bit as good as BareMinerals- maybe even better. Goes on smoothly, looks natural (not cakey at all), and has buildable coverage.

Comparable to Bare Minerals
I bought this because it was cheaper than Bare Minerals at a larger quantity. It's been great so far. I saw other reviews that claimed you have to use way more of this product than Bare Minerals, but I haven't noticed a difference. I wear it really light; one tap/sprinkle of powder is all I need. I switched from Bare Minerals medium tan original AND matte (both 1.5g/0.05oz) to Pure Minerals medium tan matte (8g/.28oz). The Pure Minerals looks slightly pinker in the container than each of the Bare Minerals. On the back of my hand, it looks redder too, as you can see in the pictures. I know you can't see much of a difference on my fingertips, but I thought I'd include those anyway. The pics are labeled and taken in natural and warm, artificial lighting. I haven't noticed a difference in wear really, but I've yet to do a side by side comparison on my face. I wear it so light that I didn't think I'd be able to notice a difference. Overall, I am very satisfied with the Pure Minerals as a cheaper alternative to Bare Minerals.Note for the pictures: I'm pretty much out of the Bare Minerals Original. So either it is my perfect shade lol, or all that's left in the container is shimmer. I also tended to wear Bare Minerals Original in the winter when I was paler and Bare Minerals Matte in the summer when I was tanner. I've only used Pure Minerals matte in the summer so far.

I would recommend
The only reason I didn't give the 5th star is because it seems not one of these Mineral Foundation Companies has impressed me with the color matching the skin tone, and I know we all have different skin, but the color I always choose always seems too light, then if I go up one it's too much, and I have blended, but that doesn't always make it great. The thing I would like to be corrected is that the blemish coverage isn't wonderful, I always see the spots I want covered at some point. I do use primer, my skin is pretty normal, not too dry and not too oily, I am 56 and have some skin damage, I would love to find the perfect Mineral Powder Foundation and be able to always know where to get it! And I have food allergies and other stuff so I like that it is Gluten Free! Right now this time of year in the Midwest I want to look like I have some color, don't see much sun this time of year!

works well for my sensitive skin, at a MUCH petter price than what I used to get
I have 50+ yr old skin, with pores that clog very easily. It is usually on the dry side, as I can use very little moisturizer. This product helps quite well in minimizing the fine flakes that I always seem to have on my cheeks because of this, as well as the few areas of larger pores and some of the 'life lines' I have accumulated over the years. It keeps my powder makeup in place all day (some others I have tried allow it all to slide down into my eyes by the early evening!). Also, for whatever reason, it helps to control the shine/oil that sometimes builds up on the forehead, without causing spots due to clogged pores. So far it has remained well-mixed (no separation). The pump pumps hard, and a full pump is more than I need. I would suggest, if you find that it does separate in the pump bottle, shake the fool out of it, then pump it into a tiny travel-size squeeze tube, if you have one, then you don't have to worry about getting 'layered' product pumped out.... I hope that makes sense.... (I found that the Bare Minerals brand primer separates and pumps out the 'oily-ish' part, leaving the thicker matrix in the bottom, which then clogs the pump...)
