Extremely happy with this pole. I had a solid pole with rotating rings prior to this. I had May issues with the top ring binding while the bottom ring would pivot around the pole. The result was a flag that I would have to unroll several times a day if the wind was blowing. With this pole, the 2 ends are guaranteed to pivot together so no more wrapping of the flag. The only issue I've seen is when the end of the flag gets caught up over the poll. I simple tug or even a light breeze will bring it right back to normal.I do wish the pole was a heavier gauge of material. The thumb screw has gone right through it in my holder. Not a big enough issue to cause me to give this less than 5 stars.

We needed a couple of poles to display 3'x5' nylon flags at the front corners of a clan tent. Tried several others but the flags were constantly wrapping themselves around the poles. We've been using these poles at Highland Games for 3 years with nary a problem, even in variable winds upwards of 10 mph. Easy to set up, take down and store. Nothing better! FYI, for mounting the pole fits smoothly into a 1" PVC pipe.

Received the pole today and went to screw the top and bottom together and it just wouldn't screw up tight to one another. I noticed a little screw at the bottom of the top pole and took that out and the poles screwed together without any more problems and then I put the screw back in and that worked. Don't know if it had anything to do with it but it sure did the trick. What I really don't like about it is the clips are as cheap as they come and they won't stay clipped so will have to find some others that when you clip them they stay clipped. For the price you would think they could have given you a better set of clips.

This flag pole is well made and very nice looking. I've paired it with a bracket from FlagBracketPA.com which allows me to mount the pole to my vinyl posts without drilling holes. The flag pole is sturdy. I've observed its performance in high wind gusts that made it look like it would break. It simply withstood the force of the wind. I've also observed it spin/rotate when the flag was wrapped around it. The flag unfurled and continued to wave full and proud

I am very pleased the flag pool system I bought from amazon is very nice and very easy to install.I placed it on the side of my house that gets a lot of wind.after two weeks it's still holding up and just is great THANKSTodd HeywoodPS I have a very heavy 3' X 5' sewn stars and and strips.Wow nice

This is a great product but I wish they had options on the length of the pole. I need one about a foot longer as the flag gets caught on my "tile" roof. Otherwise, it's great!

A good product that performs as advertised, even in the 40 MPH we recently had. I wasn't strong enough to get the two halves to screw together without pliers, but it didn't take much effort. The only product drawback is the design does not have a recessed area for the pole mounting screw to nestle into. Therefore the pole paint gets scratched off at that point.

I'm am very happy with the product, however I assumed it was made in the USA. When I opened the package it clearly said made in China. I was disappointed to see this, but it performs as advertised.
