Easy to take down and put back up table seems pretty solid

I am very glad I got this. It's very smart pretty stable, very solidly built, and hugely versatile. The scissor stand mechanism has a simple lever to release/engage two plastic toothed dials. It works well and feels like it will be long-lasting. The feet and lever have coloured elastic bands around them, which look natty but dislodge and pop off when adjusting the height (as they drag across the floor). The scissor stand is reasonably easily inserted into the desk part in wide grooves which are pretty central, and then they open out and are well contained. It won't fall apart. But the desk is a few inches deeper (front-to-back) that the top of the stand so it can be nudged into strange angles. Perhaps that's a feature to allow you to fine-tune the position. 4 stars is because transporting it is less convenient than it could have been. The stand doesn't fold all the way flat when inserted into the desk part - it remains about a foot tall. And removing them each time is more annoying because you are best putting it together inverted on the floor. If it folded more flatly - like an ironing board - then I would have given it 5 stars. This is a very solid and smart looking item, with some compromises.

On the whole this is a sturdy piece of gear, which I use for my synth and a 8 track recorder , plenty of flat room.On the downside carrying both separated items, the table and stand don't fold together , I found the table awkward to carry as it is on the heavy side especially with the table frame work having "sharp " edges.

The product was really very good but much bigger than and heavier I expected. It arrived on time but the box was not in the best condition and seemed to have been previously opened. Upon opening the box everything inside seemed to be ok and packed as I'd have expected. I briefly erected it and can say that it was a really stable and sturdy construction. Easy to put up and a very nice quality stand and table top too. Unfortunately I needed it to be easily portable and because of its weight and size and also because it appeared that it wasn't a factory sealed box decided to return it for a refund. A great bit of kit and would definitely recommend one in the right situation but unfortunately it wasn't for me. Seller was very good in dealing with my return and refund. Many thanks.

Disappointingly it arrived damaged and so returned. Didn't seem as stable as I thought it would be.

Perfect for my requirements. The only thing that would have made it better would be a couple of sleeves for transport.

The locking design of the table top is the only of it’s kind. There are no other brands that offer this type of secure and sturdy design. All other brands will surely fall off the stand and destroy your expensive gear if bumped or leaned on. This product is built like a tank and is the only game in town. The tabletop is HEAVY in a good way and seems sturdy. I wish it had cutouts for compatibility with a tier attachment though.
