Performs well!
I typically have a capacitor backup in case one is going bad or goes bad on my compressor(s). My heat pump guy said I had an old one in service that was going bad, and I needed a capacitor. I told him I had one (this specific capacitor), and he said it is it is exactly what he needed. He tested it, and it was functioning well and installed it. Having a spare capacitor like this on hand saved me a little money.

When your air conditioner or blower stops working - this could be the issue!
Most motors need a little "push" to get started - that's what the Cap does. If your motor is sounding funny, goes slowly , won't go, or worse yet goes backwards, check the capacitor. You probably have a friend or neighbour that "knows a bit about electricity" - get their help to check things out. A tell-tale sign is warping - the top, bottom and sides should be smooth. If your HVAC system is 5yrs or older, get a spare cap and you'll be a hero and could save an expensive service call. Oh, don't electrocute yourself - if you need help, get it!

Pictures R Still Worth A 1,000 Words
The item was exactly what I ordered. What caused my hesitation to order was the picture on the web of a capacitor showing no label on the item. This did not convince me of a valid display of the product. I would compare it to brick and mortar store displaying products without labels attached. If other potencial buyers would see a picture of the capacitor with a label, it might be a quicker transaction.I was pleased to have purchased this product because it was labeled to the specs I needed.

Plug and play
One of my A/C units went out while it was 114 degrees outside. I ordered 2 so I could replace both and use the one working capacitor as an emergency backup. Received it the next morning at 9am and only took 5 minutes to install. Both units worked perfectly and saved me hundreds, not to mention the time it would have taken to get service call during a heatwave.
