Casio Men Analog-Digital Japanese Quartz Watch with Resin Strap PRG-600-1CR

Lovely watch initially fidly to setup that was due mainly to my lack of experience setting this type of watch up. Great display with a highly legible STN type LCD panel. Even the LCD panel is relatively small it's one of most readable because of Casio's STN tech. STN displays are only available on certain models. Strap is thick and built to last, it fits my 8inch wrists. Once setup you have all usual functions which are displayed both on this LCD panel and the analogue display. This watch has additional sensor modes, Temp, Barometer, Altitude. Excellent purchase well worth the money 5*

I can't believe how many people sleep on ProTrek... why they aren't stocked in Europe and UK...why they don't have the same fanbase that gShock and Seiko have. had to sell my MM300 to get by in lockdown, but to be honest I think I love this one more - its not trying to ape Rolex. Closest comparison would be a Breitling, but this is very much Tool, not luxury. This is an absolute banger - looks, design and quality are all there. Yep, there's no Sapphire but at this price you can't expect that. Size is actually the right balance between big and small - its got a masculine look but its not so big it looks stupid. The features and build here make it a no-brainer for me. This reminds me of the classic, unpretentious tool watches Seiko made before they revamped everything to make them "fashion style". Timex can't even begin to compare to what Casio can offer. Highly recommend.

This watch is brilliant, it has every thing I need and more. It not only looks lovely but it's comfortable and really quite simple to use after reading through the instructions. It has to be my favourite watch of all time and a big thumbs up to Casio as they've really nailed it with this one. I recommend this to anyone who is thinking of buying it and I really can't praise Casio enough 10 out of10 :-)

Easy to read and operate.

This watch is great overall,, but unfortunately, I have had the same issues with two of these watches.. The Auto light only works intermittently, and the compass takes a long time to settle and is inaccurate. If these could be resolved it would be sn excellent watch!

Notified that it was being delivered by DPD, great, tried to track it (with the app), could not find it. DPD driver even tried to track it. Emails started arriving from Evri (nightmare) who left a £200.00 watch outside on our front door step! Why do we pay for Prime..

I watched some videos and read reviews and bought this based on those. I was very pleased when it arrived - it’s even better than the marketing photos. It is a perfect size and weight and extremely comfortable. I have a G shock that I wear to work and an older solar basic Casio watch (cheap but still works great)and this watch is too nice to wear to work ! It looks hood with semi formal or sweats and jeans. I have 2 Torgoens and a Fossil also and love this watch more than all of them -a great feature is it is solar powered as well so it will run for many years hassle free and you don’t have to worry about using power at all for lights or functions. It has auto illumination and the backlight is great and way to use in low light - has a quick find button like the G shock but isn’t noticeable. All the functions are very decent - just take time to watch a tutorial and read the manual step by step. Temperature is accurate and compass as well. The altimeter is pretty accurate I am a recreational pilot and love the way it works - and it actually tells time well and is easy to read - seems like a novel idea these days in the world of all the smartwatches etc I would buy it again without hesitation

Update Sept 2021: 2 year update. Watch is still awesome. It is my go to daily wear. I see a couple negative reviews and don't get it. Can you read instructions? If so, you can operate this watch pretty easy and after a few repetitions there is no need to refer back to them. I've had zero issues with battery life or charging. This thing is a beast. I purchased a screen to prevent scratches and that has been awesome and kept it looking brand new. It is super light and comfortable and I love the easy read of the face. It lands somewhere between casual and office, but I wear it to more formal occasions too. I wear this watch over Citizens double it's price. Great watch!! -------------------------------------- 2019 review: This watch is amazing. I’m not a typical “sensor” or multi function guy. I like style, form, and finish, usually Citizen or Seiko. I travel to China for work and I wanted something cheap and simple to display China time and home time in one glance. This fit the bill and I liked it’s look better than other variants of the same model. Now that I have the watch, wow! It’s rugged, light weight, solar, easy to read, and stylish enough for the office and after hours. After some minor calibrations I find myself checking the weather outlook with the barometer, checking temp, and just love all the features. After perusing the manual, it is quite easy to set up and calibrate. For the price this is an insane bargain! Buy this watch, you will not be disappointed!

Escribo esta reseña después de usarlo durante 24 días, todo marcha a la perfección con el reloj, después de tener una mini colección de 6 unidades de G-Shock, este es sin duda mi favorito. Por digo que mi favorito, pues para empezar el diseño fue lo que mas me atrajo en adquirió, teniéndolo en físico aun me gusto mas que en las fotos, se siente un reloj de calidad y de excelentes materiales, la caja esta compuesta por acero por la parte de la tapa de abajo del reloj, el cuerpo es de plástico pero a pesar de ser de plástico se siente solido de buena calidad, al frente como se aprecia tiene una argolla de metal y su cristal mineral. Otra de las razones que hace que sea de mis favoritos, es que la correa se puede cambiar por la que tu quieras, esto significa que lo puedes personalizar a tu gusto. En cuanto a la funcionalidad del reloj simplemente es increíble, desde mi punto de vista lo que más me convenció de adquirirlo es que es solar, ya no me preocupare en cambios de baterías por lo menos en 10 años, ya que por lo regular a los 2 años la mayoría de relojes de cuarzo hay que remplazar. Por otro lado, el resto de funciones son muy interesantes, como lo son su triple sensor: Altímetro(te ayuda a saber la altura que te encuentras con respecto al nivel del mar), Barómetro(necesario para medir la presión atmosférica y poder hacer predicciones del clima) y Brújula (siempre marca el norte magnético del planeta), otra característica extra es que tiene termómetro(para que te de una lectura precisa hay que dejarlo por lo menos 30 minutos fuera de tu muñeca, en un sitio limpio y seco). Ya que es un reloj para aventureros o simplemente para quienes les gusta el diseño como es mi caso, es interesante tener todas esas funciones en tu muñeca. El resto de funciones son las clásicas de un Casio: 5 alarmas, cronometro, temporizador y hora mundial. Para realizar algún ajuste en alguna de las funciones anteriormente mencionadas, es algo complicado realizarlas, porque implica usar la corona, no es muy intuitivo hacer los ajustes, tuve que leer el manual para poder hacer el correcto ajuste de hora, con la correcta zona horaria que me corresponde, esto con el fin de que la hora mundial pudiera funcionar correctamente. En mi caso disfruto de leer manuales e instructivos, hay que tener mucha paciencia para configurar correctamente el reloj. Siempre y cuando quieras sacarle el mayor provecho posible a esta herramienta. La lectura del panel digital como el analógico es muy bueno, ya que existe la versión con display negativo, la verdad tengo una par de relojes con ese tipo de display y no me agradan tanto como los normalitos, además tiene la función Neobrite en las manecillas como en cada hora, para que mejor me entiendas el neobrite es la luz pasiva del reloj, esta tecnología absorbe la luz del ambiente para cuando entras a una habitación sin luz puedas leer el reloj analógico sin tener que usar la luz led(la clásica luz verde de las manecillas de estar en el sol y entras a una habitación sin tanta luz que traen muchos relojes analógicos). Por otro lado la iluminación led es doble, ilumina ambos paneles el analógico como el digital. Además tiene la opción de luz led automática, que se enciende solo cuando la luz ambiental es muy baja o nula y con solo levantar la muñeca. Por ultimo al principio de la reseña decía que me agrada mas que los G-SHOCK, solo mencione una característica la cual fue la personalización de correas que no son como los G-Shock que son medidas casi únicas para cada modelo, son muy pocos los que son intercambiables y baratas. Otra cosa que me agrado mucho fue el diseño, se ve simple y sobrio. No se ve tosco como la mayoría de los Shock, además es mas casual y un poco mas formal en diseño, aunque en definitiva no es están resistente que un g-shock porque no tiene la protección de los plásticos de un G-Shock, además lo compre al 50% de descuento de su precio de lista que fue lo mejor, desde Amazon USA lo enviaron, el precio final publicado ya incluye costos de importación e IVA así que ya no hay que pagar nada extra después de hacer la compra. En resumen: LO BUENO es solar, sus funciones de los sensores, tiene la función de ahorro de energía, la manecilla del segundero se detiene cuando no hay luz en el ambiente, así que durante la noche no vas a escuchar el segundero, puedes comprarle correas de diferentes diseños y materiales, por último que es subjetivo para muchos el diseño(pero creo que si lo piensas comprar es porque te gusta este diseño por eso es un PRO). LO MALO es complicado hacer ajustes como de hora, cambio de alarmas, cambio de ciudad en hora mundial, etc.

Nice and big 52mm . It is a no frills watch just with the 1 barometer 2 altimeter 3 termometer 4 compass 5 alarms 6 world time 7 timer 8 dual time 9 solar charging Not made in Japan. Anyway lets see how long this fella can last. The strap is rubber can be quite uncomfortable may want to consider changing to nylon strap. So I can accomodate 2things. 1 a physical compass 2 an embroidery blood group type on the strap. That said Bought it cheap at 200bucks or so. Henced no complain. Rarely used most function. Unless you are climbing or out kayaking. But compare to luminox 1500bucks well, I will stick with this. Even the.Tissot t touch has issues. I had one and it gave me alot.of in accurate readings. 3000bucks watch. So a 200bucks watch? What is there to fuss about.
