Eat Grub Crunchy Roasted Crickets - Edible Insects Set (12 pack, 180g, Salt & Vinegar, Salted Toffee and Smoky BBQ - Classic Combo)

I really liked the bbq and salted toffee flavours. The salt and vinegar took a few goes to get used to! I suppose I was hoping for salt and vinegar discos flavour! My family are not so keen but I love them. Especially knowing the high protein content and that they are much more sustainable than meat.

It was my first attempt at crickets I've eaten meal worms before in a date so thought I'd set myself a challenge on Crockett's being fare they wasn't to bad being a newbie to eating insects,but when I showed pics on Facebook people said I was nuts lol was funny reading there comments

These are ok, but the added flavours are very faint, would be better if the crickets were cooked in the flavoring rather then it being sprinkled on, otherwise it leaves a buggy taste, it's not an unpleasant taste....a bit like earthy sawdust lol probably wouldn't buy these again though as some companies make theirs taste better.

It is salty crunchy snack. Once you past the initial repulse it goes well, it is just common kettle crisps just taste much better.Plus side - you can seriously impress your 8yo daughter and cause stirr with her friends.Minus point it leaves aftertaste which reminds me of some damp old rag left in a corner of the garage for too long.There is very little in the bag as well for the price.If this company came with something you can use instead of poatoes or rice in a meal, or otherwise include this in your cooking I would be interested to try.

The crickets arrived quickly, but the product was already well past it's "best before" date on arrival. Refund given without any further difficulty.

Great product, good flavour and brilliant marketing info. Had the non believers second guessing themself in no time once they saw how good insect are for us and the environment

nuts, crisps and odd aftertaste.. but they're healthy
