These bladders were great for both of our camel backs. I am petite and my pack is actually a children's pack. My 16 year old son uses a standard adult pack. These bladders fit both of our different sized back packs perfectly.They are nice quality for the price. They don't leak . The mouth piece is different but after we got used to it there was no problems.

It's definitely a good size for day hiking, as 2L will get me through most of the day. Mine has not leaked at all and has a slot at the top for easy installation into the bladder sleeve in a backpack. The hose is super long and goes to about the middle of my chest while the bladder is inside my pack. The water had a plastic taste at first; just be sure to wash it out prior to use. I filled the bladder with lukewarm water and dish soap and left it overnight. After a thorough rinsing, that helped remove the plastic taste quite a bit. Dry it out by hanging it on a coat hanger when not in use. I have not taken this on an overnight hike yet but with a thru-hike, I'd probably prefer a 3L size.

I bought this bladder as a backup while training for a long-distance paddle race. Just a spare to keep on board to keep me from running empty. When it arrived I wanted to try it out so there wouldn't be any surprises on race day and I immediately ordered a 2nd one as soon as my session was over. The angle of the nozzle is perfect and for the first time I can actually hold it in my mouth and drink without missing any strokes. Love it.

(update) I have had this for a year now and put it away during the winter, took it out to use it and the top opening has started leaking around the outside seal.Bought and then took this on a backpacking trip for a week. The bladder was great, the detachable hose made filling it super easy with the water filter adapter I already had, and the big opening never leaked. The only issue I had was the the hose kinks really easy. I plan on switching it out with my old hose that never kinked. Besides the hose issue it was a great purchase so far.

I recommend hydration bladders to all of my friends. When hiking, particularly in the summer or in the desert, it is essential to stay hydrated. It's easy to forget about it until you are feeling parched and then it is too late. These hydration packs make it effortless to continuously sip like a hamster throughout your hike. So far, this brand is functional and affordable. I cannot speak to its longterm use just yet but I also don't mind replacing my bladders every so often since they are difficult to clean.

These are great these are a must have the summertime for us usually we’re going to the parks and hiking and to carry a water bottle especially with my kids this is a lot easier for them I fill it up put it in their backpacks and they’re able to stay hydrated throughout the day. Although after a while I’m not so good with cleaning them out so I usually just a tossing them in buying more because they’re so affordable. Nice big 2 L plenty of water for a day trip.

I bought this to hike Mt. Whitney with. Great price! Worked well! Had to clean a bit to get the plasticky-manufacturer taste out, but otherwise it was very helpful to have, so I didn’t have to stop to use a water bottle every 10 mins. I have only used it once so I can’t speak to its durability, but it worked great and it’s hard to beat the price.

Hasn’t leaked once and I soaked it with hot water and pink Himalayan salt for 30mins before I used it to get rid of the plastic smell and taste. I only use bottled water in it and it never tastes bad. Good quality reservoir and can’t beat the price.

Works well enough, only issue is that you have to make sure you close it when you are done. This is not a style that works just from biting, it's a slide valve. Slipped out of my mouth while biking and sprays water on me. Overall it's good, just takes some getting used to.

Hard to dry out when done using as the bladder whole is small, but overall works great and does the trick !

It does give the water a bit of a plastic flavor, but its cheap and works as advertised

Great product. Durable, easy to use and no leaks. I especially like the suction - easier than most to drink out of. Very happy with this product- good value for money.

I chill in the freezer and it also helpa to keep me cool as well as hydrated.
