RPM Slash Tail Light Set

Just wish the lens were mounted a different way. It says you have to use adhesive and they’re a little difficult to push in correctly. Looks good though.

Just like all the other rpm stuff I have it's a good part does what it's supposed to.

They work/look great but the lenses should pop in and click in place. They stay in place with friction but would easily fall out I’m sure so they need to be glued in. These do not come with lights but I just got the ones that were in the “often bought together with” option and they fit great. Uses 3mm LEDs if you feel like wiring some up yourself which is also an option if you have the components.

I've got 2 sets of these on my Slash 4x4 Ultimate. I love the scale look and realism it adds to the car. They have stood up well to 3 years of bouncing around my neighbourhood. I've never put the red lenses on, I just have red 3mm LED's and they look fantastic. I went so far as to install a second pair using a set of Slash 2WD rear body mounts that I inverted and secure with additional screws and washers to the rear shock tower to run a set of Amber dust lights. I'm really happy with the result and get many comments on the truck. I don't have any lights secured to the body, everything is solidly mounted to the chassis.

These install perfectly onto RPM Rear Bumper for many different vehicles. I drilled them out to accept 5mm L.E.D's (Very Simple to do and adds more light) I also wire my own L.E.D kits. You have to do a lot of standing to get the lens to fit into the countersink on the housing and the housings dont like fitting the best on the mounting brackets.

Love RPM products. I use to always just buy when the factory stuff broke. Now I just replace the factory stuff with RPM from the get go to save downtime at the track or the street bash. Trust their reputation. I have never had to use their warranty so that has to say something right? Been in the hobby over 25 years and currently own a dozen RC cars and trucks counting my kids stuff.

Like always great rpm product competes the rear look of my truck especially when you use led lights in them
