This universal remote works perfect for the Linear opener LCD 850. Just follow the instruction on the chart, very simple, keep the garage door close, press the learn program button on the remote till blue light comes on, the Linear opener is press “1” time on the remote control button. Then press the remote control learn program button again. Next press the learn button on the linear garage opener then press the selected remote control button and the garage door will open.

It took few tries to get the code entered. After that, it works perfectly.

Bought three. Started acting weird when it got cold. Figured out they dont work when cold. Not sure what the cutoff is but I think its at least 60 degrees which is obviously ridiculous. It was around 50 tonight and they didnt work. Have to leave in the house overnight to work in the morning and have a long drive with the heat on to work when coming home.

For the price, it's hard to find anything comparable to this, especially when you consider how easy it is to set up. There are literally thousands of remote control garage units out there, but I promise you this one is a beast and stacks up quite well against the higher-priced ones. It took me about 5 minutes to set up. But please keep this in mind before programming..... DO NOT HOLD IN THE LEARN BUTTON ON THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER BECAUSE IF YOU DO YOU WILL WIPE THE GARAGE DOOR OPENER OF ALL CODES, AND WHATEVER OTHER DEVICES THAT YOU WERE USING WILL HAVE TO BE RE-PROGRAMMED! Just press and release! And please have a spare CR2032 battery and tiny Phillips head screwdriver available because the unit came with a DOA battery, and the screws are a boogar to remove with anything other than a small computer type Philips head screwdriver. For less than $12... can't beat it!

I have two separate garage doors. One with dip switches and one is rolling code. This can handle one of each or two rolling codes. Seems to be able to be programmed to just about every type of opener. The instructions are a little quirky. After pressing the program button inside the battery compartment, you need to press either number one or button number two (which ever you are trying to program) the same number of times as listed next to your garage door opener in the instructions. Then press the program button and you are done. For rolling code openers, you will also need to press the learn button on the opener itself to learn the signal from the remote control. The instructions imply that you need to press either button number one or button number two once and then press it again for the number of times listed in the instructions. You only press number one or number two buttons for the total number of listed in the instructions. I had a hard time with this, maybe I just didn’t read it clearly. All in all works very well. I have three!

Love these remotes. Fit discretely on my visor. Open from several feet away as I turn into my garage. Quick to open and shut. Great price. Recommend!

I have 2 garage doors, one is older with a purple link or whatever, and the other one is a newer smartQ orange code. I used this to replace the standard rectangle one, which wouldn’t pair with both. This remote allows you to pair different doors colors to the same remote, so I keyed my orange door to the A button, and the purple to the B, and it works perfectly. Now, I did both of those with the pair buttons on the openers. I think I tried to pair the newer one with the keypad and it didn’t work, so be careful with that (may need to grab a ladder and hit the pair button on the opener itself). Been using this for a few months now and it hasn’t stopped working. The range does seem just a little short, and sometimes it doesn’t trigger on the first push, but it’s always worked once you hit it again or get closer.

Prince it was set correctly, it works well. Great distance and it works with my old opener that uses dip switches to set the code. Only three stars because the instructions were very difficult to follow. I was able I get it to work after working which another opener and just experimenting until I got the correct setting. Update the instructions and this is 5 star product.

As per caption. Followed instructions, several times, then resorted to YouTube videos. Clearly not compatible. Return process a real pain too. These have to be mailed back to US.

No funciono en mi motor. mejor cambie el sensor directamente en el motor y ya venia con un remoto.

Un buen producto de buen material y lo importante que es pequeño se puede cargar con las llaves en la bolsa del pantalón, no es difícil de programar aunque en mí opinión sí debería traer las instrucciones en español para que fuera más fácil su programación.
