School Issue Scholar 5200 Uniform Shoe (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid)

This is a sturdy and handsome black leather uniform shoe. My eight year old liked the style out of the box but was disappointed that they were tight across the arch. He does not wear a wide shoe normally however I will order the same size in the wide width in hopes that the problem is solved. I was tempted to have him wear them around the house to try to break them in since they are leather...but should not entertain such an idea. Comfort is key, particularly for concentration at school so we'll try the wider width in this otherwise handsome and comfortable shoe. I loved that the shoes came with an extra pair of laces too. This son is really hard on shoes, especially laces so this saves me having to buy replacements at a later time. Great bonus!

I got it for my 8-year old. He loves them. They look great with jeans or pants. They are a bit narrow at the entry, so takes a bit of effort to get into them and may not be a good idea for boys with wide or high arch feet.

I love the durability of the shoe but my son says that the tongue of the shoe presses down on his foot. I'm going to take the shoes to the shoe repair shop and see if something can be done to stretch the shoe. Otherwise the shoe looks great!

I purchased thses for my four year old son who attends a Pre-K where it is required that the students wear black shoes Mon-Thurs. He is very tough on his shoes but these are holding up quite well.

Great quality shoe, leather with a sturdy sole, not too heavy. Grandson wears it as a dress shoe and it matches his wardrobe nicely. I would definitely purchase this brand again.

My son has worn his shoes for 3 weeks and they are already busting at the sole. We never had shoes to do this. I would a full refund of the purchase price. This was definitely a waist of money. Now I have to let him wear the second cheap not well made shoes. School uniform shoes are to be worn each day of school. These shoes are definitely not high quality.I am totally displease and upset about this purchase!

I bought the wide size for my son who is just wide and not extra wide in a full size larger than he wears and they were still too narrow. They look nice ony friend's son.
