Works great
I used this on my MacBook air 2012 and later my MacBook pro 2017.It worked perfectly but caused both laptops USB ports to stop working. Fixed the issue by holding down control+Option+shift+power. This was an OS problem.Update: Two years later, I still use it and it works great. Think I’ve made about 100 songs on my MacBook Pro 2023. The usb does slip out sometimes and I have to put it back in and wait for logic to reset. I may get a new one since it’s been so long.

Nice upgrade
I've been using a free DAW and a USB mic for recording and mixing songs, but wanted to try an upgrade without spending a lot. This fit the bill perfectly. I've only been using it for a week, with Ableton Live 11 lite (included w purchase) and so far so good. Software was easy to install and Ableton has a lot of intuitive features to help quickly record and mix Live audio and/or midi tracks.

Super simple to use
I do have experience in technology overall, however audio is one of those things that I've been lacking. I was scared to buy this, because I wasn't sure if it would be good or not. Thankfully it works just fine. It doesn't have all of the bells and whistles that more expensive interfaces have, but it gets the job done and I am satisfied.

Have to really work to get them to work
Tech support is non existent. Everything is online, but you have to figure things out. This was time consuming. The downloads were advertised as many, but in actuality I was only successfully able to get a few of the downloads some were not free and had to pay for them

Interface, recording
Excellent interface, response is perfect works well with garage band and logic pro. Reccomend to anyone wanting a live plug in for recording, and midi works well too.

Plug and play!
As soon as I plugged it in to my Macbook, the Solo was recognized right away, both as an input and an output device. Great sound quality
