Calming Patterns: Portable Coloring for Creative Adults (Adult Coloring Books)

I love this hardcover coloring book! It’s a very easy to handle size, good enough quality paper (not for markers, though) - and interesting designs. Several patterns are repeated at different scales, and several from other books in the series, but I’ve come back to it again and again - I might even purchase a second copy!

I love the hard front and back covers. Makes it easy to do on my lap without sitting at a table.

I love the size and the hard cover, which make it easy to color on the go or just on your lap in the living room. Most of the patterns are not overly tiny, so do not require a magnifying glass and super-sharp tips for every single page like some of the adult coloring books do, though a few will present some challenges to experienced colorers. There's a nice variety of page designs. The designs are printed on both sides, which might make it difficult for pen/marker users (I can't really address this because I don't use either), but my pencils work just fine. The paper quality is nice and smooth, making blending very easy.The pages have patterns, floral images, nature/animal images, mandalas, paisleys, a few oceanic images and a few black pages to make things interesting. The artwork is nicely done; it immediately captured my interest. There is something for almost everyone in these pages.

I am a small business owner in a creative field, and I ordered several of these as gifts for my clients. I was unsure about the quality because of the price point, but when I received them I was very pleasantly surprised. They are hardcover, great quality, and the cover is far more beautiful and picturesque than in the photos. These will make excellent holiday gifts, and these are an excellent value. I'm keeping one for myself so I can indulge in coloring too. :)

The book is a smaller size. Don't like the two sided pages for coloring.

This is first adult coloring book that I have ever bought so I read lots of reviews about this and many others. This one had lots of good reviews and brought my attention to something I hadn't considered which was, how easy is it to keep the book open while coloring?!? This was does stay flat while coloring and has beautiful patterns. I used it as a Secret Santa gift as I knew the recipient would adore it - and she did!!!

These books are amazing! It is so therapeutic for our daughter who not only lost her ability to walk over 2 years ago, but her wonderful ability to sketch & draw has also been compromised. This allows an 'artistic outlet that she is able to do.

Great hardcover coloring book with numerous detailed patterns for beginners and advanced!.Fits easily in your pocketbook. I took it on a long plane ride and it was a great way to pass time!

Nice pictures to colour and I like the hard cover.
