ACE needs to get their work together with this one....
When I think of the Ace name, I think of "unbreakable".This comb disappointed me indefinitely.I'm active duty military, and have more hair than most Joes you'll come across, which is why I need a good comb with me for on the spot maintainence, and thought this would be a solid comb.Boy was I mistaken....The base idea behind it, is good. Pocket sized comb that's good on the go with a sleek design. However, this is not a comb that is meant for anyone with thick hair, regardless if it's curly or straight. Within five days, a large section of the teeth snapped clear off during regular use.If you have thinning hair, are in need of a comb that will be very gentle on your hair/scalp, this may be a good investment for you.If you have a full head of hair, and it's longer than two inches, and comb your hair like a normal human being.... You will probably regret buying this comb. For any of those in the latter category, looking for a pocket sized comb that's functional and won't break down on you, I'd reccomend the Kent 20T which The Grooming Lounge also carries.Amazon.com Grooming Lounge Kent 20T link:[...]This product does not reflect on Grooming Lounge's reputation, as I have nothing but positive to say about them. Like I said, This MAY be a good comb for the former of the two groups, but I would not reccomend this to anyone outside that demographic.Ace either really needs to redesign this one to be a bit sturdier, or drop their longtime slogan of "Unbreakable" because this comb is everything but unbreakable.

good but delicate
Looks good and feels good (the teeth don't bite into your scalp). Designed for short to medium length hair. I have long hair and ended up breaking the comb by pulling it through my hair like I would with a regular comb. The handle didn't break, but the small bar at the base of the teeth did. Now I am very careful not to engage too much hair at one time. The best price is buying online direct from ACE.

Not very sturdy
As a pocket comb that I carry in my pants pocket this product does not fit the bill. The second day I had it and placed it in my rear pants pocket it lost two teeth. After a week it had lost 4 teeth. I no longer carry it.

poorly made
The comb broke within a week of its purchase. It broke in my husband's pocket with out any additional stress. The teeth are not firmly attached to the base.

Ace comb
I was hopeing this comb would be like the old combs, that have become so hard to find. It has a nice real rubber grip (however that makes it harder to get in and out of your pocket). It seemed to be a good comb at first, but no lie, as I was writing this review, I pulled it out to describe it, and it was broken. There is a slot the full length of the comb (for what, I'm not sure), and the material on the tooth side of this slot is very thin, and there is where it broke. So my search for a durable pocket comb continues. I wouldn't recommend this as a pocket comb, but it would be good for in the car or bathroom drawer.

Ace can no longer claim their combs as UNBREAKABLE
Well.... Like most of the "Ace for Men" line, adequately attempted, but falls short in most aspects.I had high hopes for this comb. As a soldier deployed overseas, and the shelves empty at the PX, I ordered this, since I've always had an Ace, and lost mine here.I have hair that's about three inches long on top, and I have pretty thick hair. Much of its downfalls could have been avoided with all medium sized teeth as opposed to fine.Within five days of use, it snapped in the middle. Do to logistical constraints, I kept using it. Another five days and the comb part completely snapped off. It's hard enough finding an all medium toothed pocket comb, let alone here in the sandbox.Ace always claimed to be UNBREAKABLE. Looks like outsourcing the manufacturing (and lack of pre market testing)of this product have turned Ace's namesake sour.Until the new comb I ordered gets here, I'll just have to stick to running my fingers through my hair...Bottom line. This comb is far from MILSPEC, haha. Let alone any form of specification.
