If you are one those who don't like boring books, and you like books to show good photografs, this is the book you have to buy about this great architect that ALVAR AALTO was. This book is one of my favourites and believe, i have plenty of book is my room. Amazing book and amazing photografs!

Il libro si pone come una raccolta di fotografie e disegni tecnici della quasi totalità delle opere di Alvar Aalto e soddisfa i requisiti.Nel mio caso mi ritengo soddisfatto in quanto necessitavo dei disegni di una sua costruzione per motivi di studio, purtroppo non erano presenti tutti quanti (prospetti e piante ok, ma niente sezioni) per l'opera specifica di mio interesse, ma nella media risultano tutte relativamente complete, chi più chi meno.Ribadisco nuovamente che questo libro non è una biografia dell'architetto e nemmeno una descrizione del suo stile o percorso evolutivo, è una LISTA di sue costruzioni con DESCRIZIONE (sommaria e riassuntiva, ma generalmente completa) , FOTOGRAFIE (altissima qualità sia di scatto che di stampa) e DISEGNI TECNICI (come già detto, relativamente completi e con barra scalare, indispensabile per poter estrapolare le quote degli edifici)

I must have for those appreciative of Alvar Aalto's architecture and a fine introduction for those not aquainted with it yet!
