Calibre Support Wrist Brace, RSI Support Offering Instant Relief for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tendonitis and Wrist Pain - Adjustable Fit with Removable Splint

I had ordered the same wrist support previously but this one is slightly different from my first one. That one had 2 wide straps at the wrist and 1 narrow strap around the fingers. This one has 4 narrow strips replacing the 2 wider ones. My only complaint is that the topmost strap, around the fingers, needs to be about an inch longer. Since I sew, I can make this slight alteration myself. It is the only thing keeping you from getting 5 stars. The support allows me to get a painfree night of sleep.

Pros: price, concept, size. Much less bulky that the one from my bone doc.Cons: a skosh too small. The next size up would be way too huge though.I like that the Velcro doesn't ruin my clothes like some. Love that!Some of the thread is unraveling, and I'm afraid a strap will fall off, so I'm putting some Essie Nail Lacquer on it in "for the twill of it." It is a lovely dark irredesent that matches pretty well.Straps are extremely hard to undo.Update: I'm looking for another brace. I don't like the fact that:1. It gets very hot and sweaty, and my skin feels like plastic when I take off the splint2. The whole thing turns, no matter how tight I make the straps.3. The worst thing is that the metal part just slips down. How annoying.4. The brace slips down too. It is annoying.In short, I'm looking for a new brace.

I am a musician and an artist and my my hands & have carpal both sides & my hands are always numb UGH! My OLD braces were hard, bulky, sharp, and the color of a nude stocking. THESE Are NOT! Not 'lo profile' per se but streamlined with a stiff plastic 'bone' under the wrist & lo forearm, open completely, & have multiple straps For custom adjustments. Wish they were sold in pairs tho good buy... Ps don't wear while practicing piano for six hours... I got s little bruise on my dominant hand from the 1 1/2 octaves stretch lol! Seriously though great help!!

I purchased this product because I have carpel tunnel in both wrists. My doctor has brought up surgery if I don't start wearing braces most of the time. I had an existing brace for my right wrist and needed one for my left. This brace is SO much more comfortable then the old one I have. I couldn't do anything with my old brace. I had to take it off to to anything. This one is thinner, but still an awesome quality. I have much more flexible range of motion, which means I can pretty much keep it on and do most activities. I received this product discounted and was so happy with my purchase that I could no longer wear the old one on my right wrist (knowing how awesome and comfortable my left wrist felt) and purchased another brace, at the full cost they had listed the next day!

So far so good, got this in hopes of helping with what there is strong evidence of carpal tunnel syndrome. It is well made and once I get the right adjustment with the straps fit will be completely perfect. 5/15/16 Update: I have the strap adjustment right and this brace is helping tremendously, I might go ahead and get the one for my left wrist to help slow down the progression with that one. I highly recommend, it definitely fits better than the ones from the store and actually a better price point.

I'm excited to announce that it fits! I have very small hands and wrists, so I was a little worried that it would be too big, but it got here and I tried it on, and it fits perfectly! The packaging for the product is nice, too, as it has instructions on best methods for fitting it to your hand. I did just notice a couple of small snags on the lining, but I imagine that's from the Velcro, so I can get over that. The metal piece meant for stabilizing the wrist/hand is removable, which might come in handy. The material inside is similar to what you would expect scuba gear to feel like, which I like! The Velcro is very sturdy, so no slippage or frequent adjusting. All in all, I'm pleased.

It is made out of neoprene so you will get hot and sweaty and need to take it off time to time to make your arm breathe. But the good news is the velcro straps allows this to be adjusted in so many positions and tightness that it is very useful. It comes with a metal brace for sturdiness. The only other thing is the brace slides out every now and then. You will have no issues keyboard typing or using an xbox controller btw

I had been having severe wrist/hand pain and numbness, which I later discovered to be carpel tunnel syndrome. It has made it difficult to lift weights the way that I had been. I ordered the wrist wraps prior to my diagnoses so I might have more support and less pain. Though i still have substantial Pain and numbness, i find the wrist wraps to help out a great deal with support even for the lighter weights I did not intend to use them for.Overall, it was a good investment for me.
