I bought this , but having to be send back as it was faulty. The Box came all banged up so was glad it want a Christmas gift. Cheap looking but not a bad look. As Soon as i put batteries in it was switched on, and would not turn off. Opening the battery compartment was an effort for me as i struggled opening a little. also really was not easy to put it back on, the top didn't seam to sit flush , it was ok before i opened, My kid had a go also and could not get it to sit flush either. My Opinion on this item , is it is not ideal for someone with Arthritis who lives alone who really struggle with hands . Didn't get to try it Due to the fault,

I am unsure as to whether my specific item was a faulty one. The concept of this item is a great one and if I had had a better experience my review would probably be very different as I'm sure other people's are. Unfortunately I can only comment on my own personal experience with this product and I'm sad to say it was not a good one. The product did not cut the can very well and also did not stop turning either. I had to take the batteries out to stop the cutters turning which made it all a very lengthy process. I ended up returning this product. I have no doubt that a replacement would have worked just fine but I just decided against it.

Useless, tried with two sets of new batteries and different styles of cans but it never makes it more than 20 mm around the can before the strain becomes two much for it and it has to be backed off to be removed.Will be returned for refund.

As my hands lose their strength I've needed to find tools to help me in various tasks. I thought that this would have been ideal. Sadly I was wrong. The opener removes the top of the can by cutting under the rim. However it takes three attempts to remove the top and even then I have often had to resort to a spoon to prise the lid off.A very disappointing product.

Absolute rubbish. I don't know why Amozon still stocks or allows this to be an option on the site. Just seen previous reviews (I should have check before I brought) however with so much reviews rubbishing the product why is it still available !!! I couldn't even bother returning it so upset just threw it away.It doesn't even deserve a star but can post without one (that needs to change)

I have bad hands, but even my son was unable to put back on after putting in batteries, have used one of these for many years without problems, but feel unless it’s broken back does not fit properly making it useless. Have thrown box away or I would be returning it.

Thought this would be amazing "as seen on tv" the cover came of no problem batteries went in no problem then comes the problem the cover will not go back on and the magnet falls out so I'm now left unable to open ta can as I'm disabled

Hi, yep the fact is that it opens cans with no trouble. at all. Just place on top, press the button and let it do it's thing. Great buy thoroughly recommended.Regards Graham.
