Oddly popular toy for guests
I haven't owned an air fryer prior to this one, so I have no ability to compare it with other units. That said, I'm quite pleased with mine. The design is simple but smart, the packaging and instructions are elegant, and it's just amazing to be able to "fry" food without consuming massive amounts of cooking oil and making the whole house smell of oil. One thing I did which was stupid and others should avoid: Don't treat the two lights below the timer dial as buttons. You can actually press them in a little bit, but they're not buttons... They're indicator lights. -_- Performance: The amount of time to get to the thermostat temperature of 400 degrees is a few minutes, which is totally fine. I recommend preheating for about 3 minutes before throwing your food in. The Molla fryer is totally capable of making great french fries and chicken wings, which are most of what I've used for testing purposes so far. =) Ease of Use: I like the simple egg-timer style dial and the little bell ring it gives when it runs down to zero. It's not as fancy as other air fryers, but I don't need anything else. It's nice to have the unit automatically shut off at the end of the timer cycle as it prevents burning if you happen to wander away while it's running. Cleaning is easy, with the fryer basket and the drawer it sits in being separate parts. Other thoughts: It takes up a surprising amount of counter space! On the other hand, it draws attention from guests and they all want to play with it. (Bizarre.) People have even brought over their own frozen snacks that they want to test out in the unit, and been very pleased with the crispy results. I would certainly recommend purchasing one of these, especially when compared to some of the other more expensive air fryers I see on Amazon. Disclaimer: Product provided by manufacturer as a review unit.

I will never "Oven Fry" chicken again.
I just used this fryer for the first time today and am extremely pleased with my Air Fried Chicken. Fast, easy and delicious. And the easiest cleanup a person could ask for. I fixed two thighs, and 2 drumsticks. I left the skin on one of each, because without skin is the healthiest. They all cooked in about 30 minutes. I had dipped them in flour, then in beaten egg, and finally in Panko crumbs. They were beautifully browned on the outside. succulent on the inside, The nonstick pot is wonderful. I will be using this quite often. My next try will be catfish. If it half as good as the chicken, I will never "Oven Fry" again. The paperwork that comes with it is not real helpful on times, and temperatures, but you can find some good recipes on You Tube.A Google search will give you more.

I'm sure it is probably a great product. We plugged it in and nothing worked
This item has been returned - it did not work out of the box. I tried to contact the seller, but the only thing I found was to return it. I would have exchanged it if I was able to get ahold of the seller. I'm sure it is probably a great product. We plugged it in and nothing worked.

Awesome unit.
I love this. I never even heard of such a thing, but I was looking at the lightning deals one day and bam, here it was. I've used this mostly for fries and tatertots, but it works very nicely. The food always ends up really crispy and somehow it tastes better to me than the regular oven baking. Honestly it doesn't really taste like frying to me, but I actually like it more this way. I would recommend this and I actually have. Would definitely buy this again.

Healthy awesomeness
My husband is the cook in the family, and do to medical issues with both of us we really needed to start eating better. This is our new favorite appliance. The first day we got it, he did a 3lb bbq pork loin, baked potatos, and carrots in it. It took much less time than in the oven, and was delicious. We have since done french fries, chicken, perogies, and a host of other stuff in it, and its great. A little trick is much like doing anything in the oven flip your meats half way through. For french fries, fried mushrooms, and stuff like that make sure you give the basket a good shake about halfway through, and make sure you are not overfilling it. If you like baked or broiled chicken with crispy skin, just spray your chicken with a little butter spray or olive oil and its crisps up very nicely.

We use our air fryer almost every day and have had it for a few months now. It's an amazing machine. We make frozen nuggets, fish, french fries, kale chips, samosas, and even use it to reheat pizza. All the food comes out beautifully cooked, and crispy. Chicken and fish comes out crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We don't even use any oil. We have a Kirkland oil spray from Costco we use on occasion which contains 0g of fat, and it makes fries super duper crunchy and no oily taste. It's also pretty easy to clean with soap and water, and only the basket needs cleaning. Cooking times are also much faster than the toaster oven which we put away in the garage, and the basket is large enough to cook food for me, my wife and two young girls. As long as the machine lasts, it's a fantastic product.

This product is fantastic. The 3 main uses I have for it are: 1. Chicken breasts 2. Thick potato Fries 3. Tofu All three of these turn out perfectly and with very little effort. I researched multiple models, but decided to give this one a try based on the good reviews, and I have not been disappointed. I would thoroughly recommend this product, and for the price, this is fantastic value. Being able to cook chicken that is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, fries that are crispy and fluffy with less than a tablespoon of oil, and tofu that is cooked on all sides while not burning, is fantastic. This is used at least twice a week at the moment, and will be used for many years to come I can see. Can't believe it took me this long to give one of these things a try.

This machine works well and so far has met all expectations. A criticism is that the controls are minimal and cooking time is not very easy to set. Great for “hard boiled eggs”, perfect for sausages - cooks them brown all over. Cooking times are sometimes longer than some other methods but simplicity and no oil or fat requirements far out way the extra few minutes needed. The device seems well made, nicely designed and quite compact on a kitchen counter.

i wanted to buy the philips airfryer for some time, in the black friday week there was a good offer for the digital one at $300 + dual rack grill free. i missed it. i looked around and for $100 i thought i could try this one, ( fid google reviews of this one first). however as soon as it arrived i saw another deal on the philips and was almost returning this wheni thought there is a difference of $200 and i would definitely buy all the accessories so if i buy the philips one it will eventually cost me ~$550. i gave this a try, and i am very pleased. air fryers have the same basic design, a heating element, a fan, the food is suspended, philips is supposed to have a star shaped protruding from the bottom this has a normal circle. apart from burning the first batch of yam fries, i have made good stuff with this air fryer! i do not see why i would use something else for ky needs i could cook everything that i wanted to using this air fryer. i use foil to layer or protect bread if required, and i could make hash browns, tofu tenders, taters, sandwiches, apples, corn on the cob, burger patties, samosas ... working well, easy to clean would recommend as a first buy.

My family used the Molla AirSmart Air Fryer 3.2L for about 3 weeks and it cooked quite well. Homemade fries crisped up quite well, not fully crispy around all the edges, but it was delicious nonetheless and cooked in the center well. Same with homemade chicken fingers and wings, no pink in the middle and quite juicy and delicious. We even tried air fried, lightly breaded with egg rather than butter, cauliflower which was great, though make sure the stems are thin or it won't cook them completely. It was quite quirky though. They decided not to paint the black divot of the time indicator on the black egg timer knob, so unless you have a light shining directly on it, like in the Amazon picture of the air fryer, it is hard to see what time you're putting it at. Also the air fryer wouldn't turn on if you put it below 2 minutes on the timer. Of course since it's like the old egg timers, you can't really reset it, you just have to let it wind down. It does have a satisfying nostalgic egg timer bell ding at the end to announce when it is done. The greater issues we had with this, which is why we gave it this score, is that we found during week 2 out of 3, the teflon coating on the frying basket was flaking off rapidly, even though we were using rubber tongs. The second thing was that the painted numbers on the temperature knob at top of the air fryer smudged and came completely off during the third week, just from light use, which I've never seen happen before on a device so new. We ultimately decided to return it after seeing these two red flags, out of fear that new issues might crop up after Amazon's return period was over. Even though we returned it, this product at least ignited our excitement for using air fryers, and we have moved over to what seems like the next evolutionary step of air fryers. Which is a digital interfaced, small box shaped air fryer oven, that has multiple modes even rotisserie, larger internal cooking space, and came with a bunch of different racks and pans included, while still fitting on the same small counter as the Molla AirSmart Air Fryer 3.2L did, just box shaped instead of an egg.
