From Inmate To Boss

I have a friend with a son that’s in prison. He would not do any of the groups, he wouldn’t talk to his counselor, he just wanted to be a bad ass. Cause he never thought he would get out. He kept getting in trouble. Once you receive this book he read it twice and then wrote me and said thank you auntie thank you. He’s out now and doing well.

Good book

I wanted to show the inmate he could be successful and great even though he was incarcerated & has a felony but instead while he was incarcerated he became a full blown heroin addict & he had never used drugs before he went to the state pen.He drank alcohol and smoked cigarettes and weed but he had never done any drugs before his incarceration & I hadn’t talked to him for a few months 4 & when I did a visit I just knew something was wrongHe was buying heroin & using it in prison also he was doing Kady and other drugs & I decided at that moment in life I would give tough love & walk away and I did & it was really hard & I feel like a horrible person but I couldn’t believe that he was in trouble and even though he was locked in a cage he was able to get heroin and he said there’s more drugs in the state pen than on the streets!

Brought for my son and he is enjoying self - help book.

Great addition to my home library

Basically this book is for inspirational and motivational purposes. It doesn’t match the title witch was a let down. You would think the book would be about how he ended up in jail, what happened while he was in jail, and what made him change his thinking process to want to write a book and be an author, but nope, it’s nothing like that at all. Basically just touches base on believing in your dreams and the sacrifices you have to make to achieve your dream and the things and people you have to leave alone to reach your goals

To read a true to life book that shows others you can change
