Sumerian Texts and the Bible
An amazingly detailed collection of passages from the Bible and Ancient Sumerian Texts that corroborate each other. It appears that the Bible was plagiarized from the Texts written more than 1,000 years previously. Many, many extra details fill in the picture of Creation and our history. For those wishing to know more about the world we live in, this is a compelling read.

A master of the ancient text!
After going through this book, I really got to see the amazing work that was put into this book. Donald Blackwell has mastered the understanding of the ancient text. This book is an eye opener. He invites you to open your mind to possibilities you may never before entertained. Don't miss out.

Riddled with typos and no citations
The most glaring typo is the author using "thru" instead of "through". The author stated in one chapter that he edited the ancient texts; I'm guessing to push his ideas. He doesn't know when to edit it from a big "G" God or a little "g" god, eg, "...the God Enlil" which doesn't make sense. The author adds a lot of commentary in parentheses but provides no citations for it, meaning, this book is just one big opinion not backed by any citations. There is a bibliography but it is extremely short for this undertaking. It's interesting, but most of all, an annoying read to hack through with his weird interpretations like a whirlwind is a helicopter.

Scattered notes
The book concept is good. Something I have been searching for. There are some shortcomings. Firstly, the book content page mentions a figure or figures but none to be found. Secondly, the book organization is poor, needs an editor. Looks more like scattered notes by the author. Besides I was hoping for a more scholarly approach, but parts of the written notes are based on "The lost book of Enki" and the "Tablets of Toth" which are already speculative.

Unprofessional
Many words are caps and/or bolded. This type of writing is unprofessional. Writer is supposed to be educating the reader, however he seems to rant more than anything. The basis of his work is a book someone else wrote, not the actual ancient texts, or a copy of the ancient texts, themselves. There is a half-hearted bibliography, but no actual citations to validate his writing. Wasted my money. Not amused.
