Where’s the competition?
I want to write a regular run of the mill review for selfis reasons such as keeping enough product in stock. But I can’t do that! This product is fabulous! It is like a creamy moisturizer that just a very little bit goes a long way. I squeezed out product a little bit more than a peppercorn but a little bit less than a pea for each eye, and it covered both eyes, underneath and above. It had a moisturizing effect on my skin and was not sticky. It’s about light to medium weight. It lasts all day. The only concern is it pills about 5-10% underneath the eyes. (Not on lids or below eyebrows or side of eyes). I think it’s because I’m not putting moisturizer on under the product in my under eye area. It is so mild, that it is not a big deal and I simply brush it away. I also want to try the eyeshadow from this seller to see if it brightens my eyes even more. The obvious negative side is that it’s expensive and the only competition I can find does not have the same quality. I don’t know why us buyers are not asking sellers for eye sunscreen? There’s face sunscreen that is a huge market but our eyes are the most delicate features on our face. We should be using sunscreen on our eyes every day. No wonder there’s such a huge market for eye moisturizers! All of our eyes have been exposed to the sun everyday. Well it’s sad for me but I can’t afford this awesome product on a long term basis. Hopefully if more people buy it, the seller will lower the price? It’s definitely worth the price in my opinion, at least to try it out to get your own opinion. UPDATE: I think it depends on what eye moisturizer you put underneath it, if it pills or flakes. Someone said not to use moisturizer with oil in it or it will pill and flake. It does best with no moisturizer underneath it, at least until I find an eye moisturizer with no oil in it. Sure, it’s not perfect but I don’t want my under eyes or above eyes to get age damaged from the sun.

Mineral SPF
Not bad, contains something pink in the formula to help hide dark circles but it doesn’t melt in the way I’d like. But it is the best most non irritating EYE SPF that I’ve tried

How to love this
This is a great product and I wish there were more like it. At 48, and even as an obsessive sunglasses/sunscreen wearer for the past 30 years, I have quite a lot of obvious sun damage around my eyes. Spf 40 designed for the eye area that doesn't irritate my eyes, adds a bit of moisture AND brightens a wee bit is awesome. Supergoop makes fantastic sunscreens, it's what they do. The trick to loving this product is to view/use it as SPF, your final layer of skincare. Use everything you normally use, eye cream included, and tap this in at the same time you apply spf to the rest of your face. Someone in thier teens or 20s could def skip another eye cream first, but if you are dry or crepey, I'd be sure to layer. You don't need much of this at all, and by layering this wee container will last forever making the price absolutely reasonable. The brightening is very subtle, don't look to this to do a lot for dark circles cosmetically. Look to it to protect you long term instead! It sinks in well and creates a good base for concealer. Love it.

Ok Mineral Sunscreen Eye Cream
I can’t tolerate chemical sunscreens so I am always on the hunt for mineral sunscreens for my face. This eye cream/sunscreen has no smell and a shimmer to it that is lovely! It gives it an immediate brightening effect around the eye. However, the brightening/shimmer effect doesn’t last long. Also, if you wear makeup on top of this, be aware that it can cause some piling. I would not purchase this again because it doesn’t seem to offer anything beyond just a regular facial mineral sunscreen. Pros: No fragrance Good sun protection (SPF 40) Cons: Brightening effect doesn’t last Thick consistency that doesn’t sit well under makeup.

Gentle, effective, and made for sensitive eyes — this one’s a keeper!
I have very sensitive skin and am incredibly picky about anything that goes near my eyes. I normally stick to baby sunscreen for my whole body—including a separate baby face formula—because adult sunscreens often irritate me. I was nervous about trying a mineral sunscreen that’s not specifically for babies, but I’m so glad I gave this one a shot. This Supergoop! Bright-Eyed cream goes on smoothly without being too thick or greasy, and most importantly, it doesn’t sting my eyes at all. That’s a huge win for me. I wear it under my regular face sunscreen, so it’s part of a pretty layered skincare routine, but the formula plays nicely with everything I use. It doesn’t pill or flake, and it feels light and breathable throughout the day. I also appreciate that this product is made specifically for the eye area—it’s rare to find SPF that’s truly safe and gentle for that delicate skin. And while it’s definitely on the pricey side, I think it’s worth the investment for something that protects such a sensitive and important area. I haven’t gotten sunburned around my eyes once since using it, and that says it all. If you’re looking for eye sunscreen that won’t burn, sting, or make your eyes water, this one is a solid pick. Sensitive-skin folks, this is your sunscreen soulmate.

spf is hard to find for under the eyes
this product has a light coverup under the eyes w/o caking and the best part is it's SPF 40

Unfortunately, i really wanted to love this..
So i've been using it for a couple of months now. And i wanted to fall in love with this so bad because it's just so hard to find good, decent daily eye cream with spf. but i really can't forgive the application of this cream: it totally sucks. it's not smooth to put on nor does it stay on nicely. meaning: it pills quickly/throughout the day and gets sticky. also means that it is not good to be under makeup - applying a good concealer cakes up because of supergoop pilling or stickiness. when i pump out the amount i need, it looks like the cream separates from liquid so i have to put it on the back on my hand and mix it with heat with my finger and swirl it around to combine. because it's basically the only one of it's kind out there, i keep using and applying this to get my money's worth and to have some benefits from this thing. but really, it feels like a toxic relationship because every time i use it, i'm severely disappointed every time. there is brightening but it's subtle so that doesn't bother me, and i have tanned skin. i would only use it on days where i know i'm going to be under the sun and with no makeup on. until then, i'm stuck with this brand until i find another.
