I purchased a microscope set and lots of prepared slides for my kiddo's birthday. But I needed a slide storage box, too, because the slides just come in cardboard boxes. Leaving them in cardboard would just lead to scratches.This case is EXACTLY what I was looking for!This case comes in fun colors. The purple one matches the knobs on the My First Lab Whodunnit Forensic Microscope Set. And my kiddo loooves purple!There's plenty of room for the prepared and blank slides I purchased, as well room for adding more slides in the future.The case and the clasp style closure both seem very durable.I would definitely recommend buying this product.

I ordered five of these slide boxes. For the most part they work well, but the closure mechanism broke on one of the boxes shortly after I began using it, and it won't stay closed now.
