My cat, a stray from around the neighborhood, turned out to be allergic to pretty much everything. No matter what food we gave him he was super-gassy, his litter box was very sad, and he scratched himself constantly. I was lucky there was a wonderful local pet shop (Mud Bay Granary for those in the Puget Sound Area) that was able to suggest altering him diet to help reduce some of these symptoms. After trying around a dozen foods, my cat settled on this one - admittedly one of the most expensive, but the bag lasts us a good 3 months or so because it's seriously nutritionally dense and he just doesn't need or eat that much.

It is very easy for cat to gain weight, so I am a little bit doubtful about it.

My rescue cat thinks she hit the lottery! She's doubled her weight in 5 months and because of the quality ingredients, I know she's healthy. She's become playful and her fur is getting to be shiny and full. She was started on this at the rescue and so I decided to limit her changes and stay with it. I'm glad I did. This large bag is a great value and easy to order. Thank you.

My cats won't even touch it , however the outside cats didn't complain.

Sometimes I wonder what we did for entertainment before we got Abigail. She gives finicky a whole new meaning. I got this new food for her today and put some in a bowl next to her current Nature's Variety Instinct LI turkey because I have learned with her to NEVER mix her food. I waited until she came around to see what she would do and she was sure to not disappoint and gave us a show. First she circled the bowl . Then she crept up to it like there was poison in it. Her finale was to sniff it and walk away. A performance I have become all too accustomed to. She has even been known to taste a food, like she did when I dared to try and serve her the rabbit LI from NVI, and then spit it out. I wonder if they have cats on Broadway?? Anyway, I do think it is a good food, but if history has taught me anything with her, she will have nothing to do with it. Amazing. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is because it doesn't have a resealable top which I think is a pain. Otherwise, excellent food.

My cats love it! They have lost weight because of it, which is great because the other brands made them super fat!

My cats love this stuff and I can't believe how soft their fur is. They also seem to be sleeker, than when they were on other dry food with more rice/other starches. Great price and amazing product!
