FREAKING AWESOME! Easy install with the C-Clip 30 spline axles ...
Just installed it on my 99 TJ WOW What a difference. Right side needed to be drilled out through the banjo opening but other than that, FREAKING AWESOME! Easy install with the C-Clip 30 spline axles Bolted right on with no issues at all. Excellent quality and we will see how it holds up in Moab this week.

Not a direct bolt on kit.
You have to weld the brake line brackets to the axle housing. You have to shorten the existing brake lines. Good thing I am able to do fabrication. I know how to cut and flare brake lines. Also I had to use a tap and die to clean out the threads for the bolts otherwise they would have stripped out and broke. The pads do not line up with the disc, they hang over so the hole pad is not in contact with the disc. Definitely not a complete bolt on kit, but it will work with some modifying.

A quality upgrade
This is a great kit. Easy installation so long as you have access to a basic welder (for a couple of small brackets). The handbrake is okay and just snuck through certification and in-servicing testing here in New Zealand. I did have to upgrade the brake pads to EBC greens to pass the regulatory tests - I should note that I am running on 35s. Overall highly recommended.

Not what I expected.
I ordered this product, but the package was incomplete. they don't tell you that you need new bearings, or that the emergency brake cables don't come with it. I had to go out shopping to get the rest of the parts needed. Then the worst part, I left on vacation shortly thereafter and while pulling my jeep behind my motorhome, my rear axle broke. I dragged the jeep down the freeway for about a 1/2 mile before I realized I had a problem. by that time the grinding wheel had started a couple of fires on the side of the road and the tire and wheel were completely ruined. Did the brake kit cause the problem? I don't honestly know, but I for darn sure won't recommend this product to anybody else. the description of the product should provide a full explanation of the parts necessary to do the job completely.

Works great.
An excellent kit to upgrade your old drum brakes. Everything worked great. Requires a couple small tack welds for the brackets so be aware. Overall very pleased with the kit.
