Great Walkie Talkies, I highly recommend these! I bought these for my son for his 7th birthday and him and my 9 year old son have been having such a blast playing with them! They have excellent sound quality with no static and are able to reach an incredibly long range for an inexpensive toy. I would expect these to cost much more for the quality that they are, I’m very pleasantly surprised. My kids went a block away from one another and could still hear each other without any static or difficulty at all. We haven’t yet discovered how far you would need to travel before losing connection, but it’s definitely far enough for the kids playing around the neighborhood. They have so many fun features like different call sounds to choose from, a flashlight feature, and 22 different channels along with up to 99 different “codes” for each channel so that you can have a private connection without picking up any other conversations nearby. I’m surprised by how great these Walkie Talkies are for such a reasonable price. A couple months back, I had bought a pair of Walkie Talkies for my kids from Walmart for the same price and they didn’t have any of the fun features that these ones have and broke after only a couple days of use. These Walkie Talkies are very durable, 5 stars!

Edited: We still use these walkie talkies for camping 4 YEARS later. They hold up extremely well. I was looking for walkie talkies for my 3 year old daughter for camping. These little guys worked perfectly and had a better range than I expected! You can hear each other very clearly, and it was easy enough for my toddler to understand how to use it. Great gift for kids to run around and play with. They each take 4 AAA batteries, and you can turn them off when not in use. I'd recommend this product for anyone looking for a fun toy for kids to keep them busy and explore outside.

I bought these walkie-talkies on a lark for my nine-year-old. Having had kids’ walkie-talkies in the past, I didn’t have high hopes. However, these ones were actually worthwhile! First, they withstood some pretty tough treatment and are still working great. Second, the bright colors made it easy to find them when they’d been misplaced outside. Third, they didn’t run through batteries like old-fashioned models. (We’ve had them for a month and are still using the ([amazon brand] batteries we placed inside them when we got the units! I recommend removing the batteries after each use just in case a kiddo Forgets to turn off her unit.). Another positive is that the set comes with three units- we only needed two but figured one would break quickly upon opening. Fortunately, they were well-made so the third unit became the parent walkie-talkie. The only negative, and it’s really minor in my mind, is that one of the kiddos had a hard time turning off the walkie-talkie. It took him a few attempts to get used to holding down the power button. As noted above, though, it didn’t adversely impact battery life. I would not hesitate to buy these again. 👍🏻

These were a great Christmas present for my three kids. They have good sound quality, although pressing the button you have a slight delay which can be a learning curve for my little ones. They are a little complex with a lot of buttons, channels, etc. but reading the instructions makes it easy to use and I love the fact that once everything is set you can lock everything so my kids cannot mess it and can just talk. These definitely have some distance I would say as we pick up some noises once in a while (baby monitors maybe?) throughout the neighborhood. We have not personally taken them out into the woods to try anything far though. I only give it a 4 star just because of the user-friendliness, but once it gets figured out it is easy enough.

Our toddlers love to play with the video camera/monitor in their room and makes us parents talk to them through the monitor in our room, as if they are talking on a walkie talkies. This is where I got the idea to buy some for for playtime, but also thought it would be a good way to keep in contact with them when they go down the street to play with their friends in the neighborhood. These walkie talkies exceeded our expectations in a lot of ways. They come 3 to a pack, so everyone can use one. The colors are vibrant, the sound quality is really good, the flashlight works well in dark places and the range is actually very good. We've only gone a distance of about a mile, but they still seem to work well. I'm impressed, which is not easy to do. Our children love them and we will probably purchase more in the future as gifts. I recommend purchasing rechargeable batteries though. If you have kids, you know what I'm talking about. You don't seem to really need batteries until you have kids and when you do, you go through them faster than almost anything except diapers. (they take 4 AAA)

The company does a really good job of minimizing on excess packaging and ease of use—they come in a really small box and the battery compartment easily pops off and they are ready to use without the hassle of charging. I was really surprised at the clarity and the range. We are able to use these across three different levels of the house, from inside to outside, and from about 2 blocks away (we havent tried farther). I was looking for cheaper walkie talkies because its for my kid, but these are just as good as sets we bought in the past for three times as much. The only drawback is that they require batteries, but they are pretty energy efficient as ours have been left on for 24-48 stretches and are still going strong.

Bought these walkie talkies for my nephew's 4th birthday. He immediately took them out of the package, handed two of them to his cousins, and they proceeded to run around the yard with walkie talkies for hours. They are easy to use and spark kids' imaginations. The kids used them for hide-and-seek, hilarious spying games, and other creative adventures. The units are perfect for smaller hands and come in bright colors so they are easy to find. The range and sound quality are great. Our yard is about 3/4 acre and they never had trouble hearing each other no matter if they were inside or outside the house. Each walkie talkie uses four AAA batteries. Not sure how long the batteries last since we've only used the walkie talkies for a few days. These were easily the best present at the party and I'm pretty sure my nephew and niece will have tons of fun with them around their own house. My brother and sister-in-law were happy to see that there are three walkie talkies so they can have fun too!

UPDATE: 10/01/2020 The battery life is not great. It is using a lot of energy even though we are not using it for long time. Also, the unit starts automatically when it is moved fast. One of the unit was hanged next to the door and it was one when the door was closed fast. ----------------------------------------- We bought this to use during our long walk when the kids drive their bikes. We can talk to each other anytime when they are far away from us. Two of them are with my kids and I keep the other one with me. It work well for a long distance. Overall a good purchase for us The quality of the product is good. It is well built and feels solid. So far not dropped it down to check how it react to a drop :) The sound quality is also good and able to hear if well. The button on the side to talk is well placed to use it quickly with one hand. Wish list 1. It will be great if there is a combination of pink and purple in the pack to give it to daughters. So far it has pink, blue and yellow colors. 2. A neck wrap is a good one to add to keep it around the neck while biking and use it quickly instead of keeping it in the pocket. Kids enjoyed it and we are using it six days a week. The battery is also staying on high bars so far.
