These led lights have a small current draw so you won't need a power relay, just 16-18 gauge hookup wire depending on the length. They are indeed bright because they are so focused due to the aspheric lens system. I measured 10100 lux at one meter distance on low beam. On high beam they measured 21650 lux at one meter. The strobe function is about 8 hertz. The led light color looks to be above 6000 kelvin. This would be a good match for the cheaper LED motorcycle headlights you can purchase on Amazon. The main aluminum housing is hard anodized on the units I received. The ring which screws on to hold the lens was not anodized so I polished it with Mothers Aluminum polish to give it a chrome plated appearance. If you have any problems with your order, the vendor will make it right quickly.

I try never to ride at night, just wanted more visibility during the day. I got 2 of these and wired them directly to the battery, and a rocker switch on the handlebar, which allows me to turn them on or off without starting the bike. They mounted nicely next to the turn signals, although I had to buy longer bolts. They add a lot more visibility than my headlight alone, of course, and I use one or both on strobe....they don't always stay in sync, but you can get them to do that if you want.

This product is really good, Light is bright and you can see it in the day time as well. The only thing what I don't like is an adjustment. It would be good if you could adjust horizontaly. The unit has two screws and you can't move it.I would recommend it.

I mounted two of these on my crash bars on my Sportster and they really do a good job after you get them adjusted just right. No problem to install or wire. I hope they last a long time. They seem sturdy and look good. Bright, too!

They handlebar mount & I have a windscreen, so I can't mount them on my mtc handlebars. (too much light reflection)I just have to make some brackets & mount them someplace.

These little Jewels light up the road! But, be careful where you install them, you can blind on coming traffic....I mounted them on my crashbars, aimed low. They are spotlights and hold a narrow beam way on out there....You can mount these on your handlebars, too....

Purchase two for my motorcycle. After installing with the wiring harness is already out already. At least I got wires ran. I ordered another. If its another dud, i will send all three back and order better lights. Nice and bright, but this is ridiculous!
