American Tactical Supply Co. ProTorch X1, 800 Lumen, Professional Grade Flashlight

When I recieved my flashlight I was utterly suprised. The quality of this product is just amazing! It came in a nice box filled with all kind of goodies that make this light an all-rounder. Wall charger, USB cable, rechargable battery, the flashlight itself - all neatly packed. The flashlight lies nicely in your hand and beams a light so bright, it will blind a blind man! I was also astonished about the several different methods to power this beauty. Use the included rechargable battery, buy CR123A Lithium batteries or use the included adapter and make light with 3 AAA batteries. I like the fact that I can charge the battery in my car via USB cable, which I already have hooked up for my phone and GPS. After playing around I was so impressed, I ordered 2 more of those lights, one for my wife, one for my other car. I'm thinking again of buying another for my dad. It is definitely a nice christmas present!On a sidenote I must admit, in my joy I overlooked some of the functionality of this flashlight! Only when I recieved and tested the two I ordered last I realized that I can activate the light in 5 different modes (high, medium, low light output, strobe and SOS - cycle thru by slightly pressing ON/OFF button)! There was, of course, a small manual with it but, honestly, who reads a manual for a flashlight, LOL! However, this makes this little thing even more valuable! Simply put: A GREAT PRODUCT !

Very good flashlight! Took me a bit to get used to the way it works but it is now my "go-to" flashlight.It lights up my entire back yard or focuses down to a single intense square beam of light. Very good for the price. Has great battery choices. Came packaged very neatly, easy to recharge the batteries or you can use regular. I'm recharging mine and the flashlight uses power efficiently as a recharge lasts a good long time. Happy with my purchase. Plenty bright enough. The light is on the cool side. No yellowy or mellow color. Pure bright white light.It would make a great gift for the flashlight addict in your life.Update: I lost my first flashlight and thought I could do without a new one. Tried my old flashlights...totally unsatisfying after this bright light.Just got my new one today. Battery came fully charged. (Thank you) Took my dog out to potty and was able to light up half of my yard at one time. Wow, I missed this flashlight. Makes steps and paths safer at night. Bought one for my father for his birthday and I think he will love it.

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to replace a failed Fenix flashlight. The ProTorch X1 from American Tactical Supply Co. is very capable and will now be my go-to flashlight around the house and for camping. When camping you don't want to worry about batteries dying as you stumble around in the dark. The included rechargeable Li-Ion (1800mAh 3.7v) will be perfect for lighting up the nights for many hours. Flashlight features a solid machined aluminum body with an o-ring protecting the battery compartment. Aluminum keeps the weight down to a minimum. Another nice touch is the dust cover over the USB port. To put the light where its needed, the ProTorch X1 has a large adjust barrel at the front, smoothly changes from spot to flood and everything in between.4 stars because; wish I could get in all black.Very pleased with purchase. Do recommend.

Like the flashlight a lot overall. Being able to recharge is great. Don't have to buy expensive batteries. Bought it to put on picatanny rail on rifle and that part did not work very well. Flashlight is too big to fit 1" ring. Had to buy 30 mm rings which are too big. Added a couple of wraps of 1 inch wide Velcro around the middle of the flashlight and it now fits snugly in 30 mm ring. Cost an extra $30 for the work around. The little rubber cover for the recharge port likely will get lost very soon. It doesn't really seem that important anyway as the port is kept covered except when charging. The bezel end of the flashlight slides out to focus beam and to also uncover the recharge port. I would buy this product again.

Well... There is a lot to like about the American Tactical Supply Flashlight.. The rechargable battery that is included works great, the different modes are easy to access with just a soft 1/2 click of the on/off button, it throws light wonderfully and has good focus ability... All good things....BUT (and its a huge one).... If you are going to have the word "tactical" in your product name, you should probably make sure its actually tactical. This flashlight is NOT. Period. The damn thing doesnt even fit in a standard 1inch offset flashlight rail mount. I wanted to throw this puppy on my AR, but the diameter of the flashlight is much too big. Very disappointing. If you want something gun friendly, spend the extra $10-20 and get a real tactical flashlight. If you want a somewhat bulky, decent, rechargeable flashlight, this thing will do the job.

This flashlight is absolutely amazing for the price. Every feature seems well thought out and the construction is very solid. The ability to adjust the beam is clutch and I find myself using this flashlight more than all my others from the big brands (which are all more expensive).Battery life is fantastic and the ability to charge with a cord is great.I will admit I was skeptical when ordering this flashlight due to the price but it has been absolutely flawless for the last few months other than one minor issue which I believe was my fault.I managed to somehow get water on the sleeve of the flashlight while it was in the fully extended position and I noticed the lens was repeatedly fogging up. I simply disassembled the flashlight and let it dry out. Since then I have had zero issues with fogging.If you're interested in this flashlight, just buy it!
