Garlic keeps best protected from light, with air circulation. This jar will hold a couple large heads of garlic and keep them for a couple of weeks. Wheel thrown from a buff stoneware clay, the body of the jar was pierced while it was leather hard. The jar is glazed with a pale celery green. The glaze is lead free and food safe.
