Noorani Dark Brown Henna 6 X 10 gms/Box

This is a henna/chemical dye combo, however unlike some similar products, their info stresses the consistency of color that this provides rather than trying to mislead the user into thinking it is "All Natural". (This is also actually true since 100% botanical dye can take differently or even not color at all depending on various outside factors such as temperature.) I actually appreciate the honesty of this approach and that's what made me purchase it. The product itself covered my greys without wrecking my hair. It's soft and shiny and doesn't smell wierd. There was no burning during coloring or anything like that either. I also like that it comes in several smaller packages within the box so that you can just mix what you need and the rest stays fresh for later use. An additional plus in my book is that this brand doesn't include the poor quality single use coloring brushes that come with some of these types of dyes which are wasteful and not really that useful. I would definitely buy this brand again.

I think this is good because it smells nice and looks natiral. I use a little arrowroot powder to begin or the henna will not distribute through my hair. Three teaspoons of arrowroot powder, make a slurry and then add boiling water and cook it in the microwave until it is clear. You have to keep stirring it to make it smooth, and when it cools off to warm and add the henna stirring and it is enough for medium length hair and is a nice honey consistency. Arrowroot powder is good for the scalp and some people use it for a dry shampoo.

This hair henna I can say made my hair very shiny and did not dry it out which pleasantly surprised me. It also covered my white hair and made it thicker and fuller. My hair is definitely more alive and feels healthier.

The first packet I opened did not have the correct amount of the product inside. It was grossly underpackaged. I opened another packet to show the difference. Pics attached.
