Accutire MS-4388GB Bluetooth Tire Pressure Monitor System for Auto/Trailer

I've got a few issues with these units. I am using these sensors on a travel trailer that is 32 foot in length. First the software is not on google play, you have to download it from the manufacture's web site and side load it on your phone (S4) or tablet (nextbook). The software, while rudimentary, works well enough. Second the sensors are heavy enough (15grams) to put a tire / rim out of balance, but there are balance weights included. Third these units have a line of sight, with no obstructions, of roughly 40 feet, which is very good for Bluetooth BUT here's the kicker, most TT's have aluminum siding so the sensors loose sych due to signal loss. I'm going to keep them and work on boosting the antenna on the table / phone.

On the surface this is the greatest thing since sliced bread. A Bluetooth TPMS I could use to display my trailer tire pressure/temperature without having to add yet another display to an already cluttered dash. The problem was that I could not make it work from over five feet away.The first issue was that it requires Bluetooth v4.0 specifically (please add this requirement to the Amazon description) not currently in advt or on box but is in downloadable instructions sheet). Lesser devices like my Galaxy SIII phone will not sync.) So I purchased an inexpensive tablet from Amazon that had Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0. Would sync but only across an air gap of less than 5 feet. Go to the other side of the trailer and syncs with other sensor but loses sync with first (scanning).Vender was responsive but said the problem was with my new tablet not being strong enough (can maintain sync with OBD-II dongle in car 30 feet away). Since of all my tabs and phones this is the only one with BT 4.0 (another with 4.4 & BLE won't sync) I have to return them.Perhaps they should post a list of compatible devices, that would be a help. Will say the package is very compete even down to lead tire weights to compensate for the weight of the sensors. I really wish they would work but for me they didn't.

What a waste of money!! They lasted about 4 weeks then each one started giving crazy reading before they went completely dead. I changed out all of the batteries and 2 of them lasted 3 days. The 3rd one died a week later. The 4th on now says the psi is 110 and the temp is 207 degrees!!!!! I give up....

I had the same results as another reviewer, I couldn't get the signal from the senders on the other side of the trailer or at the tongue. I was hoping for better results but I guess I will have to return them.

They work well. They sometimes take awhile to be found but they get around to it and do what there supposed to do.

DearsI'm very Happy with the product.The unique problem happens sometimes is a delay for Bluetooth connection.Only in one tyre. Very bizarre.Regards

Rubbish .. Don't work reliably.. And sometimes not at all .. Look ugly and obtrusive ... And as I've just discovered they corrode .. And won't come off either .. So now I'm going to have to go pay for the valve top be replaced so i can put air in the tyre again! Do not buy ... Avoid at all costs!

Could not get it to work. Eventually my Bluetooth phone found 3 of the 4 gauges but would not give me any information from them at all despite standing close to them.
