Chalk-it Hair Coloring Chalk, Temporary Hair Coloring in Bright Colors Purple, Green, Pink, Blue, Works On All Hair Colors

my 4 yo wanted to color his hair blue for "wacky hair day" at preschool. He loved this and best of all it was fun, easy to apply and easy to wash out. After reading some other reviews, I agree. maybe not the highest quality packaging, but come-on, its not very pricy and it was incredibly fun!

I got this for my daughter thinking it would be fun for us to do. I received the product end of August and didn't use it until tonight. The chalk inside was all smashed so it wasn't usable. The pieces of chalk just came out and fell on the ground and made a huge mess. Very disappointed!

These worked alright. The compacts contain a foam pad that is intended to keep your hair tight against the chalk as you slide it down the length of the hair. For two of our four compacts, the foam ripped out of the container when I used it on my daughter's hair. Perhaps I was pressing too hard, but some instructions cautioning you from squeezing too tight would have been helpful. I was disappointed that half of the compacts are basically ruined. I'll have to try supergluing the pads back in and hopefully they will stay. Once applied, the chalk colors were nice and vibrant. I used hairspray to set the color, as suggested in the directions, and it stayed well for the entire school day. My daughter really enjoyed having this for her crazy-hair-day at school.

The pink even shows up on dark hair! My daughter loves it, easy to apply and looks awesome! Does NOT feel gross like other hair chalks we've tried, hardly feel it at all actually so bonus points for that!Washed right out,actually giving 4 stars because of how easily it sort of fell off the hair and wore away after a couple hours. No staining from it, but will have to try hair spray and see if that helps it stay a bit longer.

This hair chalk was a nightmare to use. I was trying to use it on my 8 year Olds hair which is medium brown. There were more than 1 night issue. The first was that circle shaped dyes were hard to open. Once they were open, you were supposed to close them over a piece of hair and slide down. There is a chalk side and a round sponge side. However, the sponges fell off almost immediately. The hair chalk itself was disintegrating all over the counter, my hands, my daughters close. Then when we swiped and opened the round chalker, there was hardly any color left on the hair. Most of it was on the ground or everywhere else. So we got hairspray like the instructions provided and tried to keep color on this way. It didn't work. My final advice is to skip this whole mess. It didn't show up. What did barely show was sprayed to death and even that dripped out at school within one hour. It wasn't easy, fun, clean , or worth time or money!

I ordered these for my Daughter's 6th birthday party - and all 19 girls and 15 boys LOVED it. They didn't last too long, but that was OK since these were littles. Also - the color was very vibrant even on really dark hair. Would purchase again!

The worst. All but one color came in completely broken. I tried two different ways ( dry vs wet hair) and the color didn't show up hardly at all, was a complete mess, and kept coming out of my hair all day every time I touched it. I bought hair chalk combs instead and they worked so much better.

I bought this hair chalk long before I was able to gift it to my daughter. When I did, it was fun and easy to use! It washes right out, no issues. The purple chalk wasn't working right, like the others, so I sent the seller a message asking if I could get just the purple to replace it. They wrote back promptly and sent me a whole new set! We love this hair chalk!
