My comfy little "sheepskin" warmer.
I've been using my warmer a week now and it really works well for me, however, I'm still trying to figure out how to keep it in place in my bed I'm going to try clips. I will add an addition to my post and let you know, if, or how that goes for me.As for using it on my chair, it's wonderful. I actually purchased two of them so when in my chair I have one for the seat and one for my lap. I am a senior lady and cold throughout the winter, despite good furnace heat. Also I will take one with me when I go for an overnight at my son's. One should be kept in the car in case of a delay on the highway. The fleece part is very nice, but not what keeps you warm. I feel the fleece warmer is well made and I'm glad I stumbled upon them on Amazon.Sometimes I have concerns about how I would stay warm in a nursing home, were I to ever end up there. I think nursing homes should keep these things in their stock. Old people get cold sitting around and I hope to have two of them with me were I ever to enter a facility.

Good idea, poor execution
After accidentally sitting on my cat's new mylar lined fleece and discovering I got much warmer, I went looking for a human-sized option. I really wanted to love this chair warmer, but I just can't. It does indeed provide a gentle warmth, even for someone like me who doesn't give off much body heat. And unlike the cat pad, with this faux sheepskin I've never gotten sweaty sitting on it.Unfortunately, it's just not designed well for practical use. The two straps are too small for my arm chair and too loose for the office and dining room chairs, and aren't adjustable. Even if they could be tightened, I don't think they'd hold the cover in place, as it really tends to slide. There needs to be a strap in middle where the seat cover should fold, and something to go over the top of the chair and anchor it. I'd also really like to see one long enough to reach my feet - the coldest body part for those of us who run chilly. This seat cover is longer than needed for the chair itself, but not long enough to reach an ottoman or the floor. Very frustrating. It's also noisy. The cat bed barely makes a sound when I move it, but this one audibly crinkles every time I shift my weight.I had bought the blanket as well as the seat cover, intended to cut it up and create a foot pocket on the end of the seat cover. However, with how poorly the seat cover performs, I'm not going to waste the time and energy. Instead, I'm sending the blanket back unused. For now, the seat cover is being held on my office chair by binder clips and twine. I'll probably go order multiple thermal cat mats (or dog mats to get larger ones) and sew them together or stitch them on to a larger piece of fabric to make a cover that works well on my arm chair.

Subtle warmth
Very nice. Subtle warmth. I definitely notice the warmth and it makes a definite difference. It's not an electric blanket, folks, but for what it is, it's great. If you move around restlessly it will make a crinkly noise but it's no big deal. Does slip around the chair cushions a bit.

Quiet on firm surfaces.
I wondered if the sound would bother me, but found that it doesn't make much noise on a firm surface. It's silent when used on gym flooring, and rustles when I get out of my leather chair (but not when I simply fidget). The warming is subtle, but very comfortable.

Love it. Great price & a whole lot less ...
I put this under my sheets in my RV for cold nights. Keeps me toasty. Love it. Great price & a whole lot less expensive than anything electric.

Mom loved her surprise
Mom loved her surprise. She is startled sometimes by the crunchy sound, however it is a sugnificant temperature shift...which is perfect, as it gets cold where she lives!
