ChacoMen's Lowdown Sandal

These destroy my arches. Great for someone needing arch support, but I'm afraid I might need it after relying on these super high arches. I.e. will my muscles weaken :(Yes, these do run large. I ordered towards the lower end of my range, and could have fully gone down. The strap is pulled so firm that it's almost hitting the ground. (And yes, I still fully release it to comfortably get them on & off)

I took these sandals on a hike and they rubbed the side of my foot causing it to blister.

Bought these to have a nice option at the beach. Loved how I didn’t even have to tighten them down after slipping them on for short walks.

This is the first pair of Chaco sandals I have purchased. With its cult following I figured I’d give them a try. The style and color is cool, the fit is what I’m not a huge fan of. One sandal wears different then the other. Looking at the straps the right sandal requires a lot more tightening and leaves a very floppy strap whereas the left sandal not so much. Also left sandal holds more securely to the foot. Maybe a manufacturer error, but I won’t be buying again, and will likely donate these $50+ pair of sandals. Certainly not worth a $100 that I have seen others go for.

These chacos are so cool! the straps are on top instead of laced through the shoe, so they adjust to your foot as soon as you put your foot in. They have high arches, as chacos normally do, but not super hard to get used to. My husband loves them.

The lowdown is a great lightweight alternative to the Z1. Not built to be as durable in exchange for a bit of weight. Not rebuildable, but I got them for less than a resole on my Z1 classics.

I'll start by saying I've been a long-time Chaco customer. I've worn Teva's, as well as earlier version of Chacos, and I've NEVER had a pair of sandals as horribly made as these. My sandals are basically my primary shoe for half the year, so I generally break them in pretty quickly and replace them once they're totally worn out.This pair is just awful in so many ways. If I hadn't already worn them, I'd be returning them (maybe I still can?). The new thinner sole is made of such cheap and flimsy quality and the strap design lends itself to blistered ankles, which is the main gripe I have. I've been wearing them for about a month now and it's so uncomfortable I literally can't wear them without socks (which nobody wants to see that, even though I do fit the stereotype as a geologist). I can't eve wear them flip-flop style. The strap design must have been rushed through the R&D phase, because it's so grossly inferior to the good ole original Chaco strap layout. I should have known better not to deviate from a good thing, but I missed my old thin-sole Chacos from early 2015 and thought these might have some similarities. Nope.Don't waste your time on these. Go with the original design.

他の方のレビューにあったようなウェビングが緩むとかはないけど、締め切ると先っぽが地面に届いてしまいますね。それ以外は過去のZ1と遜色ないし軽くて良いです。

Se ajusta con facilidad, aunque debes encontrar la forma de ajustarlas. Están bien las sandalias. Según eso son para caminar por el campo. Yo no tengo intención de hacerlo. Para mí cumplen su función. Resistentes y cómodas. El soporte para el arco cuesta acostumbrarse al principio. Después todo bien.

I had 2 pair of Z/1s, M10 and M10 wide. Compared to even the normal M10, these M10s are significantly narrower. Not suitable for those with wide feet.They are significantly lighter than Z/1s though, and the strap systems has its own pros and cons:Pro: allow heel strap length adjustmentsCons: shifts around too much, likely need to use thread and needle to fix the lengths once finished adjusting.Outsole is of a design more suitable for indoor use, which I guess are the purpose of Lowdown.

Son unas sandalias muy cómodas para caminar o para descansar, no tuve problema con la talla y el ajuste depende de la persona, la calidad en los materiales es muy buena.
