Finally! A nice decorative piece! So many of these diffusers look the same, are plastic and boring to say the least. I wanted one for my living room but I wanted it to look nice! This piece is large, beautiful, decorative and made of hand blown glass. I love the Amber color with the dark browns running through it, kind of reminds me of a leopard print. Because the the glass is hand blown, you do run a chance of getting one that's not quite level, I would definitely send it back and get another! I've also not had any problems with the diffuser leaving moisture on or around it, as one reviewer mentioned, it you do? Send it back and ask for another! These things happen from time to time . Mine looks amazing and functions great! The glass sits on a wood toned stand and has a rubber gasket that the glass sits on, it does hold it and keep it in place nicely. I know some have mentioned they would like it better if it would attach to the base? But to be quite honest, the way this is made, if it's going to get knocked into, it's still going to take a fall with or without it being attached. I suggest putting it up high if you have these concerns. The buttons are easy to use, left side controls the three on function buttons and the right controls the 3 light settings. Works great as a night light or by your TV, when you want just a little light. Very easy to fill, just fill up to the line on the water reservoir with regular tap water, add a few drops of your favorite oil and you're ready to go! I'm very impressed with how long this thing runs, especially since it put out a good strong mist! I turned it on at 7:30am and it finally shut off at around 5:00pm. Wow! Way more than I had bargained for.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this diffuser!! I actually researched which one to get (there are SO MANY choices)- and I went to a reviewer who was (allegedly) knowledgeable, and I bought the top rated one she reviewed. [This one did not even make her top ten] All I can say is that she must have been paid to write that glowing review, and I will never again make a mistake of going to a "review site" to make a decision. If you want quality, look for quality materials.In any case, when I opened the box on the "top rated" diffuser- I saw immediately that it was cheap. It had a wood-grain look but it was plastic and it looked plastic in person. I used it once and returned it and got this one.This thing is GORGEOUS and functional. The mist is very heavy and I love the three light- and no light settings. Awesome, artful product!

I like this diffuser although there are some things that bother me.First - what I like,The glass shade is simply beautiful. It is a lovely piece of art just sitting on the table and when the light is turned on - stunning. Coupled with the wood-like base and it is something I am happy to have out on display. I love that there several settings for the light (bright, medium, low, off). I use the light as a reminder that I've turned the diffuser on and, depending on the time of day, having a dim (or bright) light setting is nice to have.Things I don't like,1. The glass 'shade' is gorgeous but, perhaps because it is hand-blown, the bottom isn't exactly straight. There is a rubber gasket around the base that this 'shade' sits on and you really have to move it around to find a spot where the shade feels secure (and won't tip over) and where the diffuse 'tube' is aligned with the whole at the top of the shade.2. If I diffuse without the ceiling fan on - the entire table area around the diffuser ends up getting wet. With the ceiling fan there seems to be enough air movement to keep the mist circulating around the room rather than settling on the furniture.This diffuser is not silent. You can definitely hear it running. That said it doesn't bother us or keep us up at night. But if you are sensitive to sound this may bother you. There are four diffuser settings: On (continuous), 2 hr , 1 hr or off. By continuous I mean always on until it runs out of water. I have another diffuser whose continuous setting means it cycles on/off continuously which I prefer, rather than the always on.

This is beautiful but the quality wasn't quite as high as I expected (and hoped). The glass bulb that covers the plastic diffuser unit is hand-blown and has some inclusions, some scrapes, scratches, inconsistencies - none of which you'd really notice if it was sitting, lit, on a side table, but for the price I would have liked it to be nicer.The function is perfect. I like the different settings, the light is great, and it's very easy to use. The only functional lack is that I could wish the steam were able to be directed slightly in different directions besides straight up, but I knew that when I bought it so really can't complain.I've been using this a couple weeks and love it.

I've been remiss in this review. I delayed writing until I could see how well it worked. I love this diffuser. The glass egg fits over a well designed plastic reservoir for the water and essensial oil. It sits atop a wooden stand and the connection between the glass and the base has a rubber gasket to provide a seal. I have had no problems with leaks of any kind. It runs roughly 2 hours before shutting off and only uses half the amount of water in the reservoir. The price is amazing, for the same price of a plastic diffuser, you can have this glass egg that doesn't need to be hidden away. I'm very happy with this purchase and have plans to get the black one.

It is very beautiful but stopped working after 3 months. Light works but does not diffuse. Other diffusers I own have never stopped diffusing.
