this was a used item, but when it came it looked new, my granddaughter had another one but it stopped working, so I found this one and everything works, she takes it everywhere, so not so new looking anymore but she loves it. it walks. meows, and purrs. love it for her.

Arrived as promised!

I was looking for a cat that made somewhat realistic meowing sounds. My 1 year old son loves cats and meows at everything. This little critter was a huge hit. The walking was strange for him at first, but now he really likes it. When the batteries died he was so upset, trying to push it across the floor to make it go. I didn't realize until I changed the batteries that it was set on "try me" mode. I don't see a difference in function between "try me" and regular modes. Very happy with this purchase, even if it died right now it would have been worth the money.
