Do not buy for LED lights
Will not work with led dimmable lights flickering is terrible even fitting the capacitor/resistor which is not mentioned in the description, wish I’d read reviews before purchasing would have saved time fitting and removing.

Instructions could be better but it all works and looks great.
I like that fact that it requires a neutral wire. All WiFi dimmers need to have a constant current, this is provided by the constant live from the rose and the additional neutral wire. This means that when switched off no current is flowing to the bulbs. Those WiFi dimmers that do not require a neutral cable actually get their constant power by leaving the bulbs powered, just on such a low current that they do not appear visibly lit. Cleaver solution but in my view, not ideal.Like most Chinese devices the screws are made of butter, be careful on tightening them.Looks very nice though and works well. Overall happy with it, would even buy again.Adding the neutral to the circuit was really easy, three core plus earth and wire pulling lubricant.Instructions, could be better but not any worse than average from China.

For the price, its really good! (1 gang dimmer in black)
We bought this for our teenage son, new ceiling lamp with dim-able LED's that were very bright so rather than change the LED's we thought we would try this.Firstly - the bit you want to know - is it any good?Yes, it would seem it is. Very well made, and works as advertised. I've read another review that suggested you had to brighten all the way to max before dimming - that's not the case.Once powered up - and still off, a dim blue led shines from the switch (it is dim).touch once - the switch functions illuminating the lamp, and the backlit blue led glows bright.touch and hold - the lamp brightens until you release, touch and hold again - the lamp now dims until you release.tap once - light goes off (and back light ble led goes dim again).tap once again - it comes back on to your last saved level of brightness.Fitting - yes, the back part of this unit is deeper than a regular switch, so if you only have a shallow back box - you may need to change it, as it would happen - it fit ours fine.Instructions - could be better - one big sheet that covers a multitude of different switches/fittings - not the easiest of things to navigate.Things to note:The glass front, clips to a metal back plate. When you receive it, the back plate is behind the glass, but needs flipping over first - don't attach to the glass just yet though. The back plate has screw holes for using your standard back box screws - but these screws cant be accessed once the glass is clipped on.Also the power unit (transformer and switch assembly clips into the metal back plate - and then has a sticky pad that attaches to the glass. My fitting process was as follows:Locate the tab on the metal back plate edge, and point downwards,Ensure the back plate has been flipped over (so the screw mounting holes are further back - not at the front)Locate the transformer into the back plate - requires a firm snap into place at all four cornersWire the transformer/metal back plate assemblyScrew the metal back plate into place - doesn't need to be rock tight.Peel off the sticky pad covering the 'switch' on the front of the transformer. On the plastic edge of the glass backing, there is a notch which the tab of the metal back plate locatesAlign the notch/tab and push firmly so that the glass snaps into place top & bottom.Power up - leave for 2 mins (as per instructions)Good to go.Would i buy again?Yes, if the unit proves to be reliable/resilient, and seems to last up to the riggers of a teenager (we'll give it a couple of months first!) then i would buy again.Hope this helps.Update: 3 years in, and still working without issues. Good product.

Seems ok not fitted it yet

Works as a switch
Instructions for fitting could be clearer with an A side vs B side on the metal plate, but the biggest issue is an LED adaptor with no fitting instructions. I cannot dim my LED light and don't know if it's my error or component capability.

Does not work with led lighting
Bought this to dim our dining room light low voltage led. Installed: flickered anywhere under the apps 70% which in led performance is about 95% brightness. Thought I'd try it in our living room, as the switch panel itself it actually quite smart. Flickered they led bulbs all the way. Then onto the bedroom where I swapped several led bulbs to see if it liked any. Result : none. This product is useless for dimming led bulbs of any nature. Purchased a BG dimmer from b&q. Worked instantly all the way down. Now looking for an old Edison bulb I can dim to actually see it working.
