Time Will Tell
I did hours of research and finally decided to buy the PAU06. I got it in the mail on May 1, 2020. Today is May 13, 2020. Therefore, this is a 13 day review because that is how long I have been using it for.Regardless of time of day, the PAU06 works flawlessly. My son uses this computer to conduct online education. He is 4 years old and has no problem streaming high definition videos of his teacher.First things first, make sure the PAU06 is in a USB 2.0 port. For my computer setup, the USB 3.0 ports caused the PAU06 to get too hot. I contacted Panda Support the same day I got it. They responded immediately and said to move it to a USB 2.0 port and that fixed the problem. If you don't know if it is to hot, think of checking your child's forehead to see if they have a temperature. It is obvious if it is too hot.The computer setup that I am using is a DELL OPTIPLEX 9020 CORE i7vPro with 32GB of RAM and a 80GB HDD (it was free). Manufacture date for this computer was 20140606, which implies that the computer is at the least 6 years old. The current operating system I am running is Fedora 32 (Workstation Edition). The wifi router is a 343 Mbps DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem/Router with Wireless-N and Gigabit Ethernet. It is made by ZOOM Telephonics with model number 5352. It operates at a 802.11 band of 2.4Ghz.At 1500 hours, I did a simple Speedtest by Ookla in a Firefox browser while the computer was directly connected to the modem and it showed an average ping of 12, an average download speed of 200Mbps, and an average upload speed of 6Mbps. Something to note, that is the highest I have seen it because usually Xfinity throttles it.Similarly, I did a simple Speedtest by Ookla in a Firefox browser on this computer setup using the PAU06. The computer is located about 20 meters away from the router in an adjacent room. The average ping was 10, the average download speed was 50Mbps, and the average upload speed stayed the same at 6Mbps.The data did not change whether I used a bandwidth of 40MHz or 20MHz. Even if the channel interference level was severe, it didn't change the data. What does change it was time of day I do the test. However, the lower speeds have nothing to do with the PAU06. It is the router that is bottle necking the wifi speeds somehow. Also, none of my wireless devices are able to connect to the wifi if I disable the WMM on the router. So that isn't an option. At 1700 I disabled the XPress Technology on the router and now the download speeds are around 80Mbps.
