Love these. Easy to use. My two dogs are 50lbs. and they cut very well as they are very sharp. Was skeptical at first because they were considered for small dogs, they are so much easier to use than those large type that are very clumsy.

These nail clippers for my Shelties are wonderful. They don't make that awful "click" sound when a nail is cut, always scaring my dogs and making it very difficult for me. Very thankful for this easy to use nail clipper!

As a dog groomer, I absolutely love these. They’re much quieter than the guillotine type. They’re pretty sharp so it makes taking little bits off the nail at a time super easy. It makes doing black nails stress free! I use on most sizes of dogs except super tiny and super big dogs. Several of my coworkers have asked for the link to these.

The headline says it all. If you have a dog with nails beyond being quite thin, your pet might get startled every time you clip them. My dog is smaller than mid-size with nails average for her size. But I should've gotten a bigger one that can handle the job.

I think the small nail scissors are safer for our critters due to the ergonomic handles (no slipping). Also, the scissor cutting shape permits a clear visual of the nail during the trimming process.

The description says for small dogs, in my opinion it is more for smaller medium sized dogs to medium sized dogs. The blade I feel is too big to adjust around smaller dog toes for nail clippings. I’m a dog groomer and I love using this when I can though. The clippers just feel like a smooth slice through the nail with almost little effort.

Worked so good my cat never realized she just had her nails clipped.
