Cable melted.
I'm very computer literate, I've built every desktop I've owned. Opened clamp, inserted cable (making certain it was oriented correctly), connected new SSD, reconnected battery. As soon as it powers on, smelled burning. It was this cable. SSD is fine, computer fine (luckily) see photo of cable. Great ratings, but this one was kinked in two places out of the bag and almost caught fire.

Good value but doesn't fit the Acer Aspire V-171
The seller is great, however this does not fit the Acer Aspire v-171..

Does the job well for a Nitro, but check your model first!
It works properly, but only with certain models of ACER Nitro! Check your computer model before you buy it, some may even com with this in their boxes, so no need to buy it. Easy to install as long as you know what you are doing!
