Awesome hiking pants
I wore these pants for about a thousand miles during our '22 NOBO AT hike. These pants were a game changer. Not only were they comfortable hiking 15+ miles a day, I didn't have to worry about rips or tears. When we got to the Whites and I did a lot of a$$ gliding down the mountains, the reinforced butt fabric held up extremely well. The knee reinforced fabric held up through all the gagger bushes and countless kneeling. They are a bit heavy when carried ( I think they weigh close to a pound, so not very ultralight) and take about a day to dry out in the woods. However, I would and will wear them again on any hike.

I wore them once
Initially when they came I tried them on and they fit fine. They were a little “stiff” but I thought they would be ok. First wearing… they fit, but won’t stay up. Constantly pulling up the waist and the legs so they were comfortable. The leg pocket with the flap cover ends up with a gaping opening. Looks lame. So after one wear they ended up in the donation pile

Well made but not perfect
I ended up sending these leggings back, but I did like them. They just weren’t stretchy enough in places I needed them to be. The seemed to be well made and I think they would last a long time. I felt like I had to pull them up because there wasn’t enough stretch in certain areas. Especially if I use them for climbing, I just needed more stretch.

Tough and Look Great
I bought these for my wife who is notoriously difficult to shop for. She loves these, slightly less stretchy than normal leggings but she has worn them on several hikes and they hold up great

Five stars for flat(er) butts
I don’t know how to review these. They seem to be great, but are definitely not made to fit much more than flat butts. And that seems to be the way all Prana pants I’ve tried on fit. (I’m currently an 8/10 or 29/30 in jeans. 28”waist and 38” hips)I bought two sizes and the smaller size (M) fits my waist but is extremely too small on my butt. The large is way too big and gaping on my waist and almost too tight on my butt when standing, and then pulls awkwardly on the lower half of my butt when walking. It makes me feel like it’s squishing half of my butt into the pant leg, the reinforced fabric really doesn’t stretch and is unforgiving). I wanted them to fit perfectly so bad. I loved the reinforced butt and knees. And boy, they’d be flattering if they weren’t so poorly fit to my butt.So if your butt is on the flatter side they’ll be amazing. 5 stars. But if you have an athletic butt, or a butt on the larger side, you might miss out on these like I probably have to. Maybe I could get the XL and have the waist altered? So I give it 3 stars because the quality is good and the reinforced fabric would be amazing, but the fit is way off for someone like me.

Tough leggings!
These are great for hiking through brush or over rocks. They allow you to move freely with worrying about ripping or snagging. And the don’t ride down! Love Prana!

Hiking pants not leggings
For hiking pants these are great but for leggings they are stiff and not amenable for working out
