Methadone Maintenance Treatment: Client Handbook, Revised

Every client/patient on methadone should own this book. The only issue is the book is published in Canada, the Ontario province. I would like to see an adaptation to a U.S. version! .

Haven't finished it yet. If you're already a patient or, have ever been a patient at a methadone clinic, then you probably already know most of this stuff but, it's good for someone who has never been and, just wants to know the basics about being a patient at a methadone clinic. I would recommend it for someone totally new to methadone treatment but, for anyone that has been a patient, well I reserve my review for that when I finish the book.

Perfect for anyone who is in a MMT program or for anyone who has family/friends in MMT. It erases the stigma that comes with methadone treatment and replaces it with understanding and education.

Very pleased with the information in this book I purchased to educate myself and coworkers on methadone maintenance. Very pleased.
