Profane Seals: A Compendium of Vile Sigil Magick - Volume I Paperback – October 31, 2014

The Good:The Sigils work. I'm a veteran, so there was no problem identifying the energy concealed or the Sigil's Aura, then it was easy to use it's Aura without the ritual and Augmentation.The writing style was intelligent, yet simple. It left no sour "WTF did I waste my money on?" experience.The Author is experienced. I opened the book ans was taken back to the 7th grade.. But the twist was learning a bit more than I did then, simply due to the writing style..POTENT. If you are into Sigil Magick, just buy it, follow the rules of the Practitioner vs the Dabbler and feel the potency in the first 50 pages.I could go on..The Bad:It Ended. Sadly, it is the ultimate misfortune that the book ended. I hoped it'd be a Magick book, concealing a hidden 500 pages or so, but I had already felt MORE than my money's worth.Bias? None, I am an owner of a few relics and have talked with those under the author about Initiation, but neither influenced my liking the book. I am very skeptical of Potency, Am I getting my money's worth???? I had none of that from the start, the relics were enough to seal the purchase, but the book did lead to two more from the Author. It's one of the only books I can use front to back with little skipping.

Id like to start by saying that this book caught me off gaurd.The book itself has a cool velvety feel to it and you can tell they put alot of work into the printing. So the book itself is nicely done in my opinion. It has tons of sigils for many porposes geared towards those who walk the left hand path.Now to the meat and bones of the book, the content and the message. Inside this rather large tome lies instructions on how to perform sigil magick. It also delves deep into the pantheon of the black court itself.Honestly it went further down the rabbit hole than i ever expected. This book is full of magickal beings from servitors to demons all the way up to the highest ranked within the pantheon.The writing style is superb with lots of new ideas and knowledge thats a breath of fresh air. I liked it as well because its a new pantheon to me which ive never heard of. It has similarities to the goetia and the northern mythologies but unique to the third degree.Last thing Id like to say is that there is lots of practical instructions for one to work with. Its thick and dense and absolutely as dark as they come. Dont expect anything other than a dark tome focusing on sigil magick from the LHP!!!

The results I obtained from working with this book are quite profound and I have seen results despite coming from more so of a Jewish/Christian/Satanic backround of magickal pathworking, all I can say is when you utilize the spirits in this book, let go of "dogmatic" one sided mentality, void your mind of worry or doubt, the spirits will help you as in any other system of magick contact is instant and I for one do not discriminate between magick, I love it all. I would say this book gave me alot of revelation like and quite "biblical" experiences as well as a sense of invincibility when I had for awhile asked for a few specific entities to symbotically possess me. Great stuff, and I would say should only be used by those who are worthy enough to be able to handle the powers contained within. The best thing one can do is work first with the blighted lords, take things slow, and figure out what it is you want and need and this along with any other magick combined will work.

There is so much dis-information in the occult community today and the lie about updating ancient knowledge infiltrates most every thing. It is great to have an author that teaches us ancient materials and right ways.This is not your fluffy pop culture LHP author or organization.Almost everyday I read from one of the Maergzjiran books and find myself amazed. These books my be small/short compared to everything else out there but they are infinitely larger than everything I have read.I don't care if I have read it 100 times, I always find something that blows my mind away.
