Bought this bike for my son (12yrs) to bike home every day from school (2.6m), I drop him off in the morning by car with the bike folded in the trunk. I've been lifting/folding it for half a year now, and it's light (27lbs) and compact enough to put in the trunk of either car. I installed a big basket for his heavy backpack, this is where the step through frame comes in very handy. It's a very complete, high quality bike; it has fenders with flaps, sturdy rear carrier, chain guard, and sturdy stand, very useful when you're folding/unfolding the bike. I replaced the saddle with a comfort one, because he preferred, but the saddle it comes with, is fine. It has 2 types of breaks, great! The internal 3 gears are what makes it truly an excellent workhorse commuter bike; for pulling up effortlessly after stopping for a traffic light, adjusting easily to nasty headwinds or the wind in your back. It has 20 inch wheels, so don't expect it to go very fast, but it is agile. The frame hinge clamp is very good, the handle bar hinge clamp could have been more ergonomic, the seat tube clamp is a struggle....I leave it in the same position when folding the bike because it's such a pain to close. Overall, I highly recommend this bike. My son thinks it's a pleasure to ride, I use it too, for quick trips to the grocery store or post office, and it's a comfortable, good ride.This bike looks and feels like a Dahon bike, but costs only half

Precious gem to go slow
Excellent all around. I just find that the gears run low so you don't go very fast on third.
