Surdy UPDATED 11/24
Sturdier than other brands. The initial review stands, but with a caveat.I installed this valve in mid October 2024. It is now November 24th. The valve failed. Here is what my inspection found, and with it still makes this a good replacement.-the failure was that the unit would not shut off, which in an RV toilet can be catastrophic.-1. we maintain softened and filtered water, so water quality is ruled out.-2. The valve can be disassembled easily to clean and inspect.THE CULPRIT IN MY OPINION IS THAT THE VALVE STEM TOP SEAL BECAME DRY AND CAUSED THE BRASS STEM TO STICK.I REMOVED THE STEM AND CLEANED THE VALVE, REASSEMBLED, APPLIED PLUMBERS GREASE TO THE UPPER PART OF STEM. Tested the valve actuator for free movement and travel.

Just what I needed to fix the toilet in the mobile home

Leaked right out of the package.
I received the valve as ordered, pulled the current valve that needed replaced and installed the new valve. Took all of 45min. including running to shop for unplanned tools.Thinking that went pretty smooth, turned on RV water pump, pushed flush pedal waiting for water to start flowing into bowl and to my amazement the brass base of the valve started leaking straight away once water entered valve.I tried flushing toilet a couple of times hoping this would stop the dribbling. I even drained water and pulled valve off again and put in small bucket, pushed plundger a couple more times...to my disappointment it did not stop the water from dribbling out. Sorry in my frustrated state of mind, I did not think of making a video.I scraped this idea, sent this junk back and just ordered new toilet, hoping I have better luck.
