Hygloss Products Foam Blocks - Craft Foam (XPS) for Projects, Arts, & Crafts, 4" x 12" x 1", White, 6 Pieces

I bought these to place under the floating platform my turtle uses to bask. She is heavy and was not properly supported - until I put this block underneath. Worked perfectly - and then she started nibbling at it, which is not a good idea for her digestion. So - will now be testing various coverings (masking tape, perhaps?) for the block and hope something works, as the blocks serve the need so well.

They did not quite seem to be 1" in height. Sturdy and easy to work with. They make a mess so make sure you have a dust pan. I made a cake pop holder using these

This Styrofoam is very flaky, so be careful you don't breathe it in by accident. Otherwise, I am using it to paint, so it's not a big deal. You about 6 pieces of it. Works great for that.

Perfect for what I needed them for with less waste due to the helpful measurements which were exact. Price is right considering how much I would pay for it here and have so much waste because these are sold in either larger sizes or too small.

Nice product

The box they came in was filled with flakes from the blocks and just setting them down onto a surface would leave hundreds of tiny flakes behind that create quite the mess, honestly i would never want these around any kids for school projects or crafts.

Great foam , used for Birthday party for three-year-old for construction he did a great job for us the children had a blast.

It was just as described. Good foundation for art projects.

Solid and easily cut.

Based on the photos I was expecting something along the lines of the foam used in pool noodles. Soft but solid (without falling apart), if that makes sense. This was the opposite, it was hard but crumbly. Absolutely the worst qualities for the project I bought the product for. Might work for other applications, but not for felting where the mini foam fragments get into the expensive wool and silk and ruin the whole project.

Just as the title says. They indented easily when squeezed.
