Between the pair, they stick out probably an extra inch from you shoe. It took me a couple of days to stop knocking my ankle bones with the hard plastic (ouch!). Once I quit doing that, I found it a little frustrating that one or the other pops off and lays blinking on the ground until I come back to retrieve it. This happens no matter how I turn them around or anchor them against the heel or raise them to grip the fabric of my shoe better. I came back to the Amazon site to see if someone had posted the trick to keeping these. Until then I guess I'll keep looking down every half a block or so to see if they are still there, which is kind of a nuisance.I like the idea of them and would recommend you try them for yourself. Maybe they will fit your shoe better. If I lose one, which I bet will happen in the near future, I'll probably look for something that is engineered to stay in place better than these.

These work well while the batteries last. They are nice and bright and they fit my shoes tight as long as I am wearing regular shoes. However, I tend to wear minimalist shoes and they will fall off if I don't get creative about how I put them on. The real problem (and the reason for only two stars) is that the batteries don't last. It takes a total of 4 (four!!) CR2032 batteries to power the things and there is no current limiting resistor in them so they burn through the batteries way faster than they should. Without that resistor the LEDs will not last as long as they should but that won't matter because changing the batteries is such a hassle that you will probably give up after a time or two. The holes for the screws (8 screws for each one) are too small for the screw head and that makes them very difficult to remove and put back. I have replaced the batteries in these things twice now and WILL NOT do it again. The next time the batteries run down the things are going straight to the trash. They are made in China and that means they are cheaply made. I suppose they are made over there because they can make 1000 of them for a dollar. I would not recommend these to my worst enemy much less my friends.

I ride motorcycles, and at night these lights are another layer of protection that are very visible and I received numerous comments on how visible they are. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because just after riding with them on about the fifth time, the one clamped to my right shoe came lose while I was riding on the freeway, and all I could do was watch through my sideview mirror as it fell to the ground and vanish into a sea of other vehicles. This was mainly due to my foot movement, maybe depressing the break, but I thought it would be secure because the product boust that they clamp down quite securely. Notwithstanding, I will purchase these again (just don't know when), but only after I figure out a better way to secure them to my shoes . . . maybe by adding some type of velcro or tying some type of line/string around them and around my ankle.

Not sure how well these are going to work. First, they are very small. I only wear a US 9 Men sized shoe, but putting these on raises some questions on how much I have to deform the plastic which will impact their ability to stay on. The nearly closed U shape does have grips on the interior, but how well they will hold... Second, changing the battery looks to be a nightmare. One of mine arrived with no working light, but I have to apparently unscrew the interior panel of this U shape to disassemble the outer and inner plastic pieces to get at the battery. I have low expectations of this going well.Edit: Managed about 6 miles before one of these popped off no matter how I tried to lash it in place to compensate for the natural warping fo the curved plastic. The other one lasted another 8 miles before it was a goner as well. It's a nice idea, but unfortunately doesn't work in practice.

The light works as expected. Quite bright and visible. I have a larger foot (13) and have had the light work itself off after a mile or so. On a long run, I lost both and only recovered one. I currently wear the single light on my wrist to give more visibility on early morning runs.

I often run after dark and these are just what I needed. They clip easily and securely to my shoes, and light up with a simple touch of a button. It is recommended that you use lights on moving parts of your body (i.e. arms and legs) for the best results, but I hated the idea of wearing even more stuff on my arms or wrists that I already do. These are the perfect solution!

Living and biking in Seoul is mega dangerous. These are great and easy to use. Lots of others who bike to work have asked me about my shoe lights. Anything that gets you noticed by the crazy drivers is a good thing. I ride an electric bike about 30-35 KMH and never have any issue. They are great!

Holds tight to my shoe and is very bright. If you push the power button once it is a solid red light, push the button twice and it is a flashing red and push it a third time and it turns off. Quick, light weight, bright light and easy to use. Came as a pair.
